Worst Dr Experience ever
Eustasis is a horrible place to go. You never see a Doctor. The people you do see do not listen to what you have to say. Every time I went in they tried to add another prescription for me. When I told them no they would call it anyway. They lie, told me I had to see them once a month due to being on a certain prescription, I called them out on it and said “oh no that’s just our policy”. Never see the same person twice, one person will tell you one thing and next month another person will tell you exact opposite. Dr Jain is a very rude and cocky person, told me “other Doctors don’t know what they are talking about”. Wanted to cut down on one script and they refused because that was the only reason I had to go there. Nothing more than a legal drug dealer that cares nothing about patients.

In it for the money
This has been the worst medical experience of my life. As a father dealing with child loss, depression, etc. I wanted to get help. It started out great initially, but as time went on they pushed more and more prescriptions. I did not want all of the prescriptions. Upon telling and trying to get off of them, they cut me as a patient leaving me barely anytime to find another facility to pick up where they left off. All while having the SOL not our problem additude.
You will never see the same provider twice, making it so no one has a clue what has been said or done in the past.

Their billing is a whole separate issue. Payments aren't posted correctly, billing to your insurance is a wreck, leaving you to pick up and keep paying paying or they won't see see you.

It all boils down to medicine pushing, and sly billing slips. They are only here for profit, and if you do your homework you will see I am not the only one with this small story to tell.

Over the summer of 2019 my son essentially had a mental break down. With very few options
For medical care, we went to Eustsais We were charged $300 before anyone would see us After a very long wait, we finally were able to speak with the nurse practitioner/ co owner. She was friendly and listened somewhat but was unable to fully diagnosis my son and started him on medication. She then had Dr. Jain come in the room. This man was holding a screaming new born and trying to shove a bottle into it mouth while asking my son, my ex husband and I very delicate questions. He was horribly rude to us and our son. Screaming over his baby and then stormed out as though we had done something wrong. He was in the room for less than 5 min. As an Rn, with over 25 years of hospital experience, I was completely apauled, my son needed help! After the visit, I frantically searched for another psychiatrist. We requested medical records multiple times to no avail. I then was sent another bill via email for $50 more. We never followed up with eustasis for care after our horrific experience. A couple months went by and Eustasis sent another email for an addition bill for $193. I called
Eustsais regarding the charges and they rattled
Off some outrageous billing for Dr. Jain. Non of the billing made sense and they have never sent me a true bill. I informed the person I was speaking with of this. NON of the services she said were remotely close to what he did in the room
for the few minutes he was in with us. He was highly disruptive to my sons care, the screaming new born was highly disruptive to my sons care and his attitude was disgusting. This business was truly detrimental to helping my son. We established care for him elsewhere and have had amazing results. Had we stayed with Eustsais, I fear what the outcome would have been for my child. This place, in my opinion, should not be treating children with psychiatric disorder. The service was horrible. I have been “billed” for services un rendered

We are happy to supply an EOB based upon the patients insurance and an explanation of services rendered, our services are provided on an acuity basis in accordance with CPT guidelines, for instance if a patient is billed for a 99204 or 99205 this is not a time based code it is based upon acuity, then additional time is spent in add on supportive psychotherapy in the form of patient teaching etc. or inter active complexity if multiple family members are present. Our records reflect the patient did receive a diagnosis the first visit so this is inaccurate, we are disturbed to receive this report and can attest it is not an accurate representation of our care. The patient received a full diagnosis as well as a treatment plan that was comprehensive at the time of service, there was an accurate and educated psychiatric evaluation conducted by board certified providers. We never turn a patient to collections and they are free to disregard the bill if they choose not to pay. We do our best to assist every family and cannot recall any such event taking place at our clinic or any dissatisfaction being voiced at the time of service. It seems as if issues were conveyed only after charges rendered they were displeased with. We bill based on acuity as in accordance with CPT guidelines as well as providing supportive therapy in the form of patient teaching and empathetic validation, as there were multiple family members present they required interactive complexity. We have very thorough documentation to reflect all services provided. As in accordance with HIPAA laws regarding psychiatric records we protect this portion of the patient record, but are happy to send them to any provider who is continuing their care. We are sorry they felt our services were not optimal, but we are servicing thousands of patients in the community and this is the first time we have had anyone question our integrity. We provide immediate access to patients and are appalled at the strong language being used about our services. The patient was never treated rudely, received the upmost courtesy, as was the family. We prescribed evidenced based treatment base upon years of experience. We are happy the patient has found somewhere they are happy as at the end of the day they have to feel their Care is the right relationship for them. We are constantly striving to improve, and value feedback but can attest this course of events is not representative of our level of excellence that has awarded us top psychiatry in the region for several years. As stated we will not be charging the patient anything further for the robust services received including testing, evaluation and management, and add on psychotherapy in accordance with Missouri laws, insurance regulations, CPT guidelines, etc. the mother appears to be basing her expectations as a professional vs the patient mentality which is often where we run into issues when they are unable to remove the hat of clinician and allow us to treat their child. Again, we are happy their son is getting the care he needs, but would appreciate if they could let our practice be, as we will consider their balance paid in full, and provide an EOB showing the exact breakdown, as well as the transferring of all records to their current provider. We understand patients and families are going through an emotional time and often need someone to hear them, we provided the services and know they would withstand any audit.

Revdex.com:

Thank you for the time spent with this complaint. I will

accept the balance at Eustasis being paid in full. However, I do stand by my claims of a

screaming baby being brought into our room by ***. He did say in the midst of the chaos, “I can’t make a diagnosis right now”. This was heard by myself, my son and my ex husband. Also, please note numerous reviews from other dissatisfied patients as I don’t feel like they justly represented themselves in their response. Lastly, I did

try to get the records to no avail. Regardless as to what they say, my claims remain the same and they should take the claim

as a moment to learn and be informed of the patient’ perception of their actions. As for insinuating

I needed to remove the clinicians cap and let them treat my child, I find It ridiculous and exhausting. This should be a teachable moment for Eustsais on providing better service to people in need. Again, thank you for

your time and I will accept the paid in full adjustment.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely
