Review: Bought and paid cash for [redacted] tractor.(a little over $15,000) Used approx. 15 hours had to be taken to repair shop. [redacted] kept tractor approx five weeks. All repairs covered under warranty, as per [redacted]. They said "they've never seen anything like it" as far as the problem. Delivered tractor back to us. Tractor shut off again with 25 hours. Had to be taken in again for repairs, this time keeping tractor two weeks. Cylinoid open and relay fuse bad. [redacted] told us again covered by warranty. Received a bill for $238.40 for repairs. Called spoke with [redacted]...very rude said the fuel froze solid while sitting on their property. (My husband had fuel treatment in it) said some repairs were covered by warranty. Parts were a total of 9.60. Fuel was 17.40. Labor was 193.50.Desired Settlement: Would very much like to return tractor and get amount we paid for it refunded.

[redacted] purchased a [redacted] Mpx 28 tractor with a loader April 20, 2013. The tractor was prepped, all fluid levels checked and grease fittings lubricated, torqued wheel lugs and checked the tire pressures. All functions of the tractor were tested. We filled the tractor with our #2 off road diesel with a winter additive. The tractor was delivered. The customer ran the tractor with no issues. The customer shortly had problems with the engine after he filled it with fuel. We could tell it was not our fuel because the fuel was clear on road diesel off road diesel is died red. The engine began to misfire and smoke a lot. We picked up the tractor and brought it to our shop in [redacted]. We found the crankcase oil level was over full, the engine was filling up with diesel fuel; the fuel was getting into the engine through the injection pump. We removed the injection pump. We sent the pump to [redacted] for repair, The injection pump bores were scored and the pump could not be repaired. We Installed a new pump from [redacted]. After installing the new pump and changing the fuel filter we drained the fuel tank, filled the fuel tank with our fuel, test ran the tractor; the tractor performed with no problems. We delivered the tractor back to the customer. A few weeks later the customer called complaining the tractor would not stay running. We picked up the tractor. The engine had a hard time starting and would not stay running, We found a faulty fuel shut off solenoid. We replaced the fuel shut off solenoid when we noticed that the fuel filter was plugged up with contamination in the fuel. There was a white milky substance in the fuel. We drained the fuel tank and changed the fuel filter. We put 5 gallons of our fuel in the tractor, We still had a hard time starting the tractor out in the cold. We found that all three (3) glow plug tips were melted off. We replaced the glow plugs then the engine started and ran the way it should.

The engine has always run great on our fuel and began to have problems when the customer added fuel with fuel treatment both times. Therefore we conclude the problem with the engine came from the fuel and or contaminate that the customer added that caused difficulty in starting the engine. We guarantee a good engine performance when the customer follows the operator manual regarding fuel and fuel treatment.

[redacted] honored warranty for the fuel pump and glow plugs. However all indications show the problem was fuel, not defective parts. We invoiced the customer for fuel and cleaning of the fuel system and fuel tank only.

We see no reason for the customer to return the machine and expect a full refund since problems (except fuel shut off solenoid) were fuel related and not from fuel we filled the tank with.

[redacted]sells hundreds of motorized equipment each year and fives by doing what is right. If any of our workmanship would be faulty we take immediate action to remedy the problem.
