Recently we had several windows and a patio door installed by E.V. Windows and Doors. Kris the owner, came to give us an estimate which was reasonable and fair (we had several other estimates). We decided to go with E.V. Windows and an installation date was arranged by Kris. The workman arrived early and worked very efficiently in the removal of the old windows and patio door to the installation of the new windows and door their commitment to complete the job was outstanding. Cleanup of the job was amazing - sweeping, vacuuming, washing of the new windows and their workspace was left spotless. We give Kris and E.V. Windows and Doors a "thumbs up" recommendation!!
We began looking for the right company to replace all 18 windows in our Downers Grove home the first of October. We had a bow window we wanted to replace with a bay and we wanted the best company we could find to do the job. E. V. Windows & Doors, Inc. was one of the five companies we met with to discuss materials and windows available today and which window would be the most energy efficient. The other companies salesmen were knowledgeable. However, we were impressed with Chris as owner, his honesty, knowledge, past experience in actually installing windows for over 20 years and his prompt response time answering our questions, meeting with us and updating us between signing the contract and the installation date. His price quoted was fair and competitive. He also showed up the day the windows were installed to check on the job and answer any additional questions we had. From the beginning, Chris continually repeated the importance of a quality installation and that he had a team of highly reliable qualified men working for him. On the day of installation, the men arrived and quickly protected the house with tarps, then moved rapidly into replacing all the windows. They did the job quickly, efficiently, professionally and proudly gave us a great installation in one day. I rarely have seen a crew working separately and yet together as smoothly as Chris's men did on our job. We highly recommend Chris and his company E. V. Windows & Doors, Inc., thank him for a terrific job and rate him 5 Stars Plus.

EV Windows and Doors INC Did my windows for me. They came and took the measurements and called me when they were ready. Chris called me to make an appointment for installation and showed up as per the appointment. The crew showed up and started to work and they were done in no time. These guys are true professionals and price was resonable. Forget [redacted] and [redacted] They didi my main floor windows for me. I will be calling them soon for my upper windows. Thanks Chris.
I had all the windows in my 36-year old home installed by EV windows this week and I am so pleased with the finished product. This company was my 4th bid and it was by far the most reasonably priced company and working with Kris was so pleasant. He arrived for a free estimate within 2 days of my call, gave me a quote soon after, and the windows were ordered and arrived right on time, in 3-4 weeks. His quote was far below the 3 other companies I'd talked to, which made this large home improvement project possible. I was able to order the windows I wanted, Kris didn't mind what company I went with as he has been installing windows of all brands, for over 20 years. I chose Pella vinyl windows for my house and a vinyl window from Advanced windows for my front bay window and it looks marvelous.
His workers were on time, professional, pleasant, considerate when kids were in the house while they worked, and cleaned up well on both days. When I had questions for Kris via text, phone call, or email, he got right back to me knowing that these decisions weigh heavily on a family as windows are a once in a great while investment. I am so pleased and I would recommend this company to anyone considering replacing 1 or all their windows.
