I'm the director of a local non-profit youth ministry, and we needed service for our van. I paid Buck Sullivan to have a towing hitch and electrical harness installed. The van was outfitted ahead of the scheduled time, and I picked up our van with a brand new shiny trailer hitch.
Unfortunately, the electrical harness that was installed had more bells and whistles than our van. When installed the power door locks would lock and unlock every time I hit the breaks. Somehow the electrical harness for our trailer hitch crossed up the circuit and did not illuminate the running lights. The hardest part about this is that I found out while I was loading our youth up to take them to camp in Missouri. With no other alternative, I departed with electrical problems, without running lights and had the repairs done in Missouri.
When I returned to Jackson, I scanned and emailed the invoice and a short letter describing the out-of-town repair to Buck Sullivan. I did not have time to send the photos I took of the wrong harness and it's wiring. Nor did I have time to bring the van to Buck Sullivan to have them inspect the out-of-town repair. I did not have time to call the polite service manager to explain the details person to person. In spite of the fact that I did nothing to substantiate my claim, Buck Sullivan reimbursed my out-of-town repair.
This is why I will always prefer using Buck Sullivan's Repair Shop.
