allow the patient time to adjust.  The accommodation is different with each patient so we do have to start our triage of issues with the most common solution.   If that solution does not work for a patient, we schedule a no charge visit with the Doctor to discuss what vision problems the patient is having with the new prescription and how we can adjust the prescription to best accommodate the vision issue.  We will then remake the lenses, at no charge to the patient, with the new prescription.  This process, if needed, would continue until the patient is happy with their vision.  The examination and new lenses are not at any cost to the patient.   Our central billing office does not have the policy to take patients to court over an unpaid balance.  Again, I apologize that you were misinformed of our policies.  We do send patients to collections if they have an unpaid balance however this is not the only solution we have to resolve our patients needs.   We have spoke with your insurance company and reinstated your benefits.  If you have any questions regarding the reinstatement, you may call our central billing office or have your insurance company call and speak to them directly.   We apologize our partnership did not meet your expectations.  If you do find yourself needing any service, we are happy to provide you with your Optical needs.   Regards,   Tina M. D[redacted] Practice Manager Evans, Piggott & Finney Eye Care Group
