Complaint: [redacted]
I initially started this complaint because I entered into an agreement with [redacted] to build my home.  The entire time I spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] only.  When we were signing the contract he said he wanted it to be in the business' name, leading us to believe it was his company.  Throughout the process he referred to [redacted] as the team and only after every thing was finalized and I was having issued did he have me contact [redacted].  I don't think that is that is right.  [redacted] has had someone come out and repair one of the cracks in the basement that was leaking and I believe he may be fixing the leaky egress window, but I'm not 100% sure on that since this has been an issue since May.  I think he may think that it will only leak when it storms really bad and that all windows will do that.  I have mentioned to [redacted] puthing in a window well around the egress window, but it doesn't matter to me how the leak is stopped just that it is.  My intention was not to bring this better business claim against [redacted].  It was to bring it against [redacted]
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] never came out and did any work to the leaking window.  [redacted] came over once and sprayed water in the weep holes and he removed dirt from the drain that was put in to put in a well, but for some reason a well was never installed, he said he would be back to install the well that was August 7, 2017, today is August 31, 2017
Sincerely,
[redacted]

To whom it may concern:I am just trying to clarify some details in case it is getting muddled in the process.  My husband and I spoke with a realtor, [redacted] with [redacted], when we were trying to build a home.  [redacted] found [redacted] with [redacted] Construction Services.  We met with [redacted] at one of the homes he was building and went over floor plans.  [redacted] and I emailed back and forth ([redacted] the email on the contract) discussing price and particulars.  Then we ([redacted], [redacted], myself, and my husband) discussed the different options that my husband and me would have to pick out.  At the time of contract, [redacted] sent over a contract for us to sign and we signed but then had to resign because [redacted] wanted it in the "company's" name.  It was originally just in the name of [redacted] as the seller.  We got it back with [redacted] as the company but the contact information (email and phone number) was the same, so I did not think anything of it.  When [redacted] would refer to [redacted] he would say the team.  After closing when I began to have issues within the very same week, THEN, and, only then, did [redacted] say he was a contractor.  I never spoke with anyone other than [redacted].  When I would go to the job site, [redacted] was there.  [redacted] had the key.  [redacted] Construction Service signs were plastered all over the place and the house was all over his facebook page.  I never had any contact with [redacted] until [redacted] told me that he was just a contractor and that I needed to call him to get my house fixed   It is extremely frustrating to be led to believe something.  Especially something as big as being led to believe that I was entering into a contract with someone that I was not actually entering into a contract with at all.  Yes, I want my basement window not to leak and I want it fixed by whoever is required to fix it, but I also want [redacted] to be held accountable for his actions and to make others aware of his conduct.Respectfully, [redacted]

Only after complaints did we find out he was working for an LLC owned by [redacted].  My husband has since addressed the water issue around the window setting up a drain. I just wanted to go on record that [redacted] was misrepresenting himself.  I will call to get his reaction to the complaint. If you do please leave a detail message.12/20/2017 I don't need any work done. In his reply he never addressed why he didn't make it clear who we were really dealing with only after the complaint was it clear he was a subcontractor.
