To Whom It May Concern: I scheduled the appointment with *** *** for Mr*** *** as an "anytime without client" appointment on Tues6/7/Our salesman did exactly as instructedThe customer did call for us to return, but never indicated their angerOur proposal was dated
6/11/16. This proposal states "Using *** Precontraint awning fabric in your choice of the available colors"Now we can't be responsible for them not reading the proposal, indicating their color choice, nor taking month to respondOnce we received the deposit of $on 7/11/16, one month after they received our proposal, a job ticket was written and we began production of the framework for the awning that was ordered. When we got to that time in production for the fabric, we called for their color selection. Our call was made to them on 8/or 8/12/16, weeks after we received their order! Our lead time is approximately 4-weeks, so we were not late by any stretch of the imaginationDue to all these facts, we refused to refund the deposit, as we had done nothing wrongIn response to their demands, we sent a photo of the frame in our yard as proof. Now we know the fabric color is to be black, and are proceeding with production for installation approximately by the end of next week, 8/26/16, weeks from the order dateOur proposal also states "Balance due on installation" and our men will have an invoice with them or we can email it in advance, for collection on installation.Please advise us asap if there is any further dispute on this matter.Best regards,*** ***, Office Manager, Evanston Awning Co

I am rejecting this response because:They scheduled us for an "anytime without client" appointment?  Ms. [redacted] sent an email to us stating “Kengo, I am scheduling George [redacted], sales mgr., to come by your office on Tues. June 7 in the morning to meet with your assistant”.  Why would be pay almost $5,000.00 without speaking with a representative from their company?  Of course we read the proposal! It states:   “-Prior to our receipt of the full contract with 50% deposit, fabric samples and shop drawings (limit of (2) revisions) will be provided for owners approval and city permits upon our receipt of a 10% drawing deposit, which is non-refundable but applicable to the full contract once all approvals are received.”  Again we selected the fabric color and requested the drawings when we met George [redacted].  Are we responsible for this company not communicating with its staff or the customers?  We never received any drawings for approval and they did not know what fabric color we wanted.  What we did receive was a picture of the finished product.  This does not make any sense to us.  Can this company offer false promises take our money and build whatever they like for our building without even consulting with us? We no longer trust this company. After the way their Sales Manager & contract state they will submit drawings for our approval and fail to do so, then they send us a picture of the finished product after we complained. We are very unhappy with the purchasing experience and the customer service of this company.   This company has very poor communication skills with its employees and customers, and is very untrustworthy!  We are still demanding a full refund of our deposit.
