It is the opinion of Evelar Solar that this individual is being unreasonableWe had agreed to cancel their contract and have waived the $cancellation fee inspite of the customer being several weeks outside of the agreed upon cancellation windowAdditionally we agreed to waive the fees associated with the site survey, design, and permitting process that we incurred because of the delay that the customer causedIf the customer would like this in writing we respectfully request that they fill out the contract cancellation form that is a part of the contract that they signed and we will respond with a confirmation letter of receipt

I am rejecting this response because:
I don't trust them. In their third paragraph they state they "agreed to cancel the contract without any cancellation fee".I request they repeat that statement and include a signature.

This individual that has filed this complaint signed a legally binding contract with us to purchase a solar array. In addition to this they also took out a solar loan to pay for the price of the system, and signed loan docs, so its unclear to Evelar how they were mistaken on signing up with us. We...
allow for a 3 day cancellation period in the event that the homeowner has a change of heart on their purchase. If the customer decides to cancel the agreement outside of the cancellation period we charge a $2500 cancellation fee to help cover our expenses. In this situation we agreed to cancel the contract without any cancellation fee to satisfy this customer. I am attaching a copy of the agreement the customer signed. You will notice that our standard agreement even contains a form to fill out along with instructions on how to send it to us. This customer never sent the form in or followed these instructions, and we still allowed them to cancel. Franky, I'm shocked that this person filed a complaint after the major exception that we made for them.Thanks.
