I purchased a truck from Even Par Auto over the internet and was very disappointed. They promised me everything was working and sent me pictures of what they wanted me to see. When I had the truck shipped to me it was full of minor and major damages. The fog lights shorted out. The headlights shorted out. The truck had been wrecked in the front end and they didn't tell me that. The tailgate had been rigged to work and the tailgate fell of. The wiring was messed up and I had to replace the PCM. So far I have close to $2000 in repairs with 700 miles on my truck. It has been broke down for 5 weeks now. If you buy from Even Par, which I wouldn't again, make them take the vehicle to a certified mechanic and get it checked out before you buy.
Kelly, we are sorry to hear that you feel that way. When you called us over and over and asked us not to sell the vehicle to anyone. We told you everything that we knew about the vehicle. It had a clean Nebraska title, just as described. The Fog lights and head lights worked just as promised. I sent you over 27 pictures of this truck inside and out. You have had the truck since February and it is the end of May. Unfortunately between the time that I shipped the truck to you and the time that you called us on these repairs , lots of things can happen. This truck was in great shape and great working order for a 2007 Ford Ranger with 106,000 miles on it. The vehicle was found to have a leak shortly after you purchased it and we help split the cost of that repair on and AS IS vehicle in , an act of Good Will on a 13 year old used vehicle. I understand that you have had some issues since the purchase of the vehicle. This vehicle was in great running order as you will see, we only keep the nice vehicles on our lot. Since the purchase is AS IS , as stated on the contract and we helped with one repair already, we cannot make your truck into a brand new truck. This vehicle was priced very aggressively and after the 15 plus phone calls between you and I on this Truck, I feel that you knew everything about the truck and its history. I gave you all the information we had on it and everything we knew about it. I am sorry that this is not a brand new truck for the money, but we did help with one repair and since you are over 600 miles away, it makes it difficult to know what you are talking about when everything worked just fine at time of sale , then after 700 miles of trips into the mountains and offroad, a short arrises in the headlight or fog light. I hope you can see where we are coming from. Thanks again for your time .
