I had an excellent experience with Everdry Waterproofing of Illinois. They were the most thorough of all the companies I had out to look at my basement. They took the time to explain why the water was coming in and answered all of my questions. They even gave me multiple options to fix the issue. After signing up, the process was quick and efficient. The entire team, from the sales rep to the installation crew, were professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Everdry Waterproofing of Illinois.

Hello Stacey,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. As Illinois premier waterproofing company we are always striving for exceptional customer service experiences! We are so pleased to hear that you are satisfied with all we've done and look forward to having you as a member of our growing family for years to come!

Mary: I signed a contract with everdry waterproofing Ill. and the work was completed in August 2019 at a cost of $28000. Shortly after completion, I had leakage in all the areas they had supposedly waterproofed. A representative came and authorized a very small section to be repaired but said that my gutters would have to be moved away from the house before they would admit fault. This took some time and was followed by dry weather. Last night's heavy rain resulted in a lot of water in my basement and attempts to contact the company failed---phones disconnected, e-mail to person Revdex.comsaid to address complaints to failed to be delivered. It seems the company has severed all connections and it is time to take legal action

We had the problem of rooftop leakage in our house die to the misalignment of rooftop tanks. The task was so tedious that we were unable to take out time from our daily life and busy schedule. Thanks to the Everdry Waterproofing Illinois company that they provided us with such an awesome team of professionals. They managed everything so effectively that we were not required to give any extra inputs as they managed everything for us.

I would definitely recommend Everdry to anyone who needs this type of work. Thank you. I am totally happy with their work.

Hello Joshua, Thank you for your feedback though I believe you have the wrong company. We do not service roof's in any capacity. We are a foundation waterproofing company. Respectfully, Everdry Waterproofing

I received the company Everdry from ***. Almost immediately, I had been called on both my cell and land line, texted and emailed every day and sometimes two to three times in a single day. They seem so aggressive that I am too uncomfortable using them.

Everdry Waterproofing Illinois Response • Oct 18, 2019

Hello Michael,
Thank you for your comment. We do have an automated system that sends out one text, email and voicemail daily. On each of those there is an option to opt out of any messages. We will certainly take your information out of our system. We would also recommend contacting the site you used to input your information and having them stop sending it to to companies as well.. We wish you the very best!
Respectfully,
Everdry Waterproofing

I called Everdry Waterproofing of Illinois regarding a free inspection on water proofing my basement. After they learn details and gathered my personal information they wanted to charge me $300 for coming out. Their ad clearly states call for FREE INSPECTIONS. False Advertising.

Everdry Waterproofing Illinois Response • Oct 15, 2019

Hello Carl,
We are sorry to hear that you felt we advertised falsely. I am not sure why you were told we do not do free inspections. As long as you own the home and anyone with vested interest, such as a spouse, is on site for the inspection it is completely free, with no cost or obligation. If this is the case we would love the opportunity to make it right with you and invite you to give us a call at your earliest convenience!
Respectfully,
Everdry Waterproofing

The week before Christmas, Everydry waterproofed my neighbor’s basement. Seeing that the men were choosing to cut through our lawn to carry away debris to their truck on the street, I told the supervisor that I had newly planted the lawn early in the fall and that type of foot traffic would tear it up. I asked him to have him men refrain from walking on our lawn and to use our neighbor’s sidewalk, which was adjacent to their work, in order to get to the street. He agreed. But his men did not abide, even though my neighbor talked to the supervisor about this also the next day. Over the course of three days they continued to cut a path through our side lawn to get to their truck and ended up leaving behind a dirt path, and instead of walking out to the street on our neighbor’s sidewalk, they then chose to use our front walk, covering it in a layer of mud—mud that we tracked into our house everytime we used our front walk. Anticipating several days of company with the upcoming holidays, I spent 2 hours washing the caked-in mud off our walk in just-above freezing weather. In addition, they tore up parts of the lawn by the side of our house as they dug up the dirt around the foundation of our neighbor’s house. The workers stood on and placed their supplies on our property, and all that heavy work left bare patches of dirt in our side lawn. In a continued sign of disregard for our property, they stored their supplies overnight behind one of our bushes right on the side of our house. I placed one email and three calls to Everydry to ask for a call back and to ask that they repair our lawn. It has been more than a month, and I have not received a call back. Once I spoke to someone who said the supervisor, Paul, was supposed to call me back, and that he would leave him a message. Paul, or anyone else from the company, never did call back.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide us with your feedback. I cannot find record of contacting our office to previously but we will be happy to remove any dirt necessary and add new dirt and sod to repair any damage we caused in the spring. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by our work next door.

If you enjoy being sold on lies and scare tactics...this is the company for you!

Jeremy wasted two hours of our time with his used car salesman pitch (during which he said he wasn't a salesman...excuse me, then what were you doing?) During his pitch, I said we really needed to leave because we were late to dinner (which is 100% true)...he kept going for another 45 minutes.

$18,000 to install their multi-step system...yeah okay.

He didn't even address the real issue, it was more of an okay you need to totally redo everything because your house is horrible. It sounds like they bully you into getting their system and the complete package they offer.

This company should be ashamed of their sales tactics. It is pathetic. If your company is so amazing, then it should sell itself! It should sell on honesty and integrity...something this company doesn't seem to know much about.

They kept calling my husband after, but wouldn't leave a message. Then when my husband picked up, they said the owner realllyyyyy wanted to work on our house and they would love to work something out.

This company may have a good solution, BUT is going about it the wrong way. They instilled fear in me about my own house.

We had other companies come out and explained what Everdry said...they ALL said it was complete BS and they just wanted our money. We got the problem fixed for a fraction of the price.

Avoid Everdry at all costs...bad business practices!

Victoria, Thank you for your review. It can be difficult to hear critical feedback, since we care so much about our customers and want to provide value and satisfaction for every one of them. However, I believe we can always improve, so I will share your thoughts with our team to see how we can enhance our customer experience in the future. We appreciate that when you invited us to your home, it was based upon your expectations to enjoy a wonderful experience. We fell short of your expectations and want to apologize. We are confident we will gain your admiration should you ever need full service in the future. We only hope you will feel inclined to post your praise when that occurs. Please know we will internally address your complaint in order to ensure that what you experienced is not repeated. Respectfully, Everdry Waterproofing.

My wife and I submitted pictures to show exactly where the flooding issues were in our basement in March 2018. We were led to believe, and we’re assured that all our basement flooding issues would be resolved once this companie’s work was completed. On August 20 thru 21, 2018 we received some very heavy rain in our area. The basement flooded in exactly the same areas as previously mentioned. We spent over $21,000.00 to this company, only to hear, “Well, that’s a sewage problem.” My question is: why couldn’t they have assessed that it was a “sewage problem” right from the start? Our flooding issues really didn’t have much to do with the foundation.

I had Everdry do my basement a few years ago, and since then, I have had no problem whatsoever. Everdry was there on the day they said they would be and were done on the day that they said they would be. My basement, other than new concrete around the perimeter and my yard were as good or better than when they started. I would do it again or recommend them to someone else in a heart beat.... Thank you, Dennis A.

I believe this company was trying to scam me. I stated to the sales rep that I had several other offers & told him the price point I was looking for. The rep (Andy & an assistant) insisted on sitting down to show me a fancy presentation on his Ipad. As the presentation ran he pulled out of his pocket a stick & told me that I had mold spores in the air in my basement. Then proceeded to show me that he took some tape & pulled mold off of a part of the exposed wood in my home. I did not see where he took either of these samples for these tests from. Seems odd to pullout a stick from your pocket. He did not take the sample in front of me. He did not have me hold the stick to watch it turn colors on its own. He gave me this during the presentation. This to me seemed suspicious. Then after an hour & half he pulls out a price list & gives me 3 options of how to fix my problem. All 3 quotes were highly overpriced. $22 grand for a small home. He then offered a slight discount to $19 grand. I told him much to high & then he said of course you can finance. I then again told him this was much to high & thank you for your time. He then tried to bully me by saying if I leave now the price goes back up to $22. I kindly declined. Now 3 days later I get a call from the office, a woman & she states the owner feels he wants to come to my home to re-evaluate the problem to make this work for me. I kindly declined the offer again & the woman rudely stated "you can give us a call back when your problem doesn't get fixed." Seriously this company does not care about the homeowner. It is only concerned with making a sale.

I made an agreement whit this company for a back flow valv installation and after four months and many calls and excuses the job never was done

This company did a terrible waterproofing job in my basement, in 2001. At least twice due to their negligence of using poor quality material. The ceiling and drywall got wet and damagedo. Tiles and drywall had to be removed by another company to find the water leaks that were caused by their clamps holding pipes together. This happened twice already, and there is always water seepage, and due to that there is always moisture and humidity. Due to this I always have to use a dehumidifier continuously.
This can cause severe health issues or diseases especially from the Respiratory system. This can also cause damage to my foundation. The pipes were installed close to the circuit breaker box, and I see this as a fire hazard.
I don't have any piece of mind thinking that any time when rain falls I will get water in the basement.
I have tried to work things out with Everdry (Paul and Mike), but they have been totally uncooperative. Is very unpleasant, they are not abiding by their warranty "0 WATER PROOFING" I HAVE SPENT TOO MUCH MONEY already not once but twice having a company removing drywall and tiles! Their faulty, and poor quality material is what is causing all these problems!

Mrs.,
I am sorry I was not able to talk with you before you got frustrated. I would love to help you get this corrected. I purchased this franchise in 2011 so I don’t have the details to the quality of work that they did back in 2001. Regardless of who did the work, Everdry Chicago will stand behind the work and service you according to your warranty. Based off what I was able to find, I believe you have a furn-co boot in your discharge line that runs along your ceiling. These boots do age over time and in some cases, need to be replaced. I believe we have already done this for you. At the time the old company installed your system they didn’t offer a sewer check valve. Sewer backup will cause furn-co boots to rot and begin to leak. We offer existing clients a discounted price to have one installed. If you feel we have not provided you with proper service, please call our office and I will personally come to your home to inspect the work that had been done.
Sincerely,
><>Paul

My husband and I went to the Will County Fair and stopped at the booth for Everdry Chicago and set up an appointment for them to come to our house for an estimate on work in the crawlspace. Originally the appointment was set for 10 am on Saturday August 28. We received a call the next asking if we could change the appointment to between 12:30 and 1 pm. I said 12:30 would be fine. At 4 minutes for 1 we received a call and we were asked if we wanted to reschedule our appointment foe another time. I said no and the gentlemen finally showed up around 2 pm. We was not dressed to go in the crawlspace to look around (dress shirt and nice slacks). We bent down, sort of looked down and then measured the outside of the house and said he would email me an estimate. It is now September 1st and no email, no phone call, nothing. Not good customer service

Everdry Waterproofing Illinois Response

We are so sorry for not following up with you sooner. We do our best not to bug home owners if they are not ready to make a decision. The inspector told us he had sent you your estimate so we did not want to bother you. Our normal process is to wait 4-6 weeks before following up on an estimate. This normally gives Home owners enough time to gather any other information they want. Finding out that you did not get the estimate really surprised us. This is completely our fault for not following up to find out if you had received the estimate. By no means is this our normal operating standard and if you are willing to allow us to prove our commitment to excellent customer service we can send one of our senior consultants back out to you and give you your estimate right on the spot. I hate to have to take more of your time, but the consultant that was there the first time is out on leave of absence due to health issues. Again, I am sorry for not giving you an estimate the first time out, you do not deserve to be waiting on us and I hope to make it up to you. I will do all that I can to help you get a safe, healthy and structurally sound home.
Our Best Regards,
><>Paul
