Everdry Waterproofing is committed to providing top quality work along with great customer service. Thank you for your review!

I purchased my home 5 years ago. The Everdry Waterproofing system had been purchased by the previous owner. The full warranty was transferred to me upon purchase. Thankfully I haven't had a drop of water in my basement. The warranty gave me peace of mind at time of purchase and continues to make me confident that I will not have water issues in my basement in the future.

Thank you for your review! We do strive to provide the best possible warranty services.

Tony and his crew very courteous and patient with answering my questions. They were also as neat as could be considering all the mud they were dealing with. I would recommend to my family and friends.

The Everdry of Pittsburgh team thanks you for the kind words. Our number one goal is to bring peace of mind to all our customers. Sincerely, Everdry Waterproofing of Pittsburgh

Everdry solved the water issue in my basement, which allowed us to finish it and enjoy the space. Everdry was very attentive to any concerns and came back out to look at a troublesome spot and fixed the issue quickly. It gives me great peace of mind knowing Everdry is there to help if any issues arise.

Our company goal is to provide a great quality service and help people improve the biggest financial purchase that they have made. We stand behind our work and are proud of the work we perform.

Everdry charged us a premier price for its service, claiming to have the best product and service in the industry and that is not what we received.
Issue #1: Sales person told us that we did not have to remove any of the tile in our basement prior to the waterproofing. He said “all you have to do is move your stuff to the center of the room.” This did not seem right to us so when the customer service rep called to schedule we asked again and her answer was “of course you have to remove the tile around the edges of the room.” We had to scramble to get this complete. No one would apologize or admit that this happened.
Issue #2: Water proofers came to complete the job. The broke the plumbing from our house to the road. We requested that they have a licensed plumber fix this. They did. When the crew left stating that the job was complete, it was not. They left the whole house covered in mud. Large holes and debris in the yard. They also did not waterproof a section of the basement. We called to have another crew sent to the house. Months pass.
Issue #3: The second crew and supervisor come to the house to clean up the yard, the basement and to waterproof the part of the basement that they missed. This crew fixes the yard, wipes down some walls (which didn’t need done-they floors needed cleaned up) and then sat in their truck and ate snacks. We were told that clean up was complete and the basement was water proofed.
Issue #4: Another rain came and the second crew apparently had not waterproofed the last part of the basement. Had to schedule another crew to come out. More months pass. Finally a man comes to fix it and was very professional and said that the last crew didn’t fix anything. He finally fixes it.
Issue #5: I called the main office and asked to talk the most senior person. A man who identifies himself as the “head honcho” hears my story. He does not apologize. He tells me that he paid for the licensed for plumber and acts as if I should thank him for fixing a problem that his crew created. I request my refund of one months payment for the poor service, the many phone calls, the lies and the days taken from work to be at the house for them. He says he will talk to this supervisor and call me back. This was over a month ago.

I am not going into again all the issues Mrs. has experienced. The bottom line is all issues have been corrected and when I spoke to her myself on June 20th, 2019, she was very happy, now however she still thought she should get some sort of reimbursement for her inconvenience. We thought otherwise as it was our contention we stood behind the conditions of our warranty and made the necessary corrections.

However in the name of good business practice, I have instructed my finance manager to send Mrs. a check in the amount of $1,200.00.

Sincerely,

Charles R

We had our home waterproofed a few years ago from this company. Total waterproofing cost was around $15,000. With the French drains that were placed they also sealed all cracks that were supposed to prevent any water from entering our home. With this, we are able to pay a yearly fee to have this investment serviced. We called at the beginning of 2019 because of cracks that were sealed were no longer sealed. We had to have these cracks resealed last year because they were no longer sealed. We called and were given an appointment for April or May (I cannot recall exactly). The day came we were supposed to have our cracks re-sealed. The person was a no show and Roy called to say that this person could not come out because of a family emergency. He was to call us back to reschedule. He never called us back. We had to call him to reschedule. At this point the “ earliest” time they could come out would be end of July. With in the last 3 weeks our basement has had water come in because of these cracks not being sealed. We called twice tryin get this date moved up but per Roy no earlier date could be provided. This is very unexceptable and our basement wouldn’t have had water in it if these cracks were, for one properly sealed and two were sealed this year when we had scheduled for it. Paying this large amount of money for waterproofing shouldn’t result in cracks needing re- sealed on a yearly basis let alone water entering the basement. Roy provided no help in this matter. With the cracks not staying sealed it makes me wonder if their sealing on the foundation has held up as well. We are not able to see this as the dug the perimeter of our exterior foundation.

This issue was started at the beginning of the year. More than half way through the year is not acceptable for repairs. How many more times does our basement have to get water in it?

Everyone here at Everdry strives to provide the Best services possible to all our customers.

We purchased the most elaborate Everdry product as we had one episode of water in our basement after heavy September 2018 rains. Everdry installed the system in January with suspected issues of failing product in February. We contacted Everdry to resolve seepage issues in a corner that never had seepage in the past. They came on site in April to resolve but the issue has not resolved and now involves other areas of the basement that has never had seepage on the walls in the past. Our fears are that this company poor workmanship (ie damaged our hardwood and bay window but they compensated those damages) extends beyond the unfinished walls to the finished section of the basement. We've called, emailed and texted to no avail. We need immediate help or we will have foundation issues and mold eventually if not resolved to their product description.

I had Everdry waterproof my basement about 10 years ago. It was one of the better investments that I have made in my house. I also highly recommended their warranty and services. I have had one issue with the sump pump and they were out the next morning to fix the problem.

Our Service department and everyone here at Everdry Strive to provide each and every customer with the best possible service.

Fast and thorough service. Our basement had a mold problem that kept cropping up every other year. We had work done in 2014 and have yet to have one instance of mold. The team was professional and their customer service has been excellent. If we ever move from this home and buy another that does not yet have waterproofing, Everdry will be the first business we'll call.

Here at Everdry Waterproofing we strive to provide the best possible customer service from your call to any service calls that maybe needed.

I've been a customer of theirs for over 20 years. They are quick to come when I need a pump replaced and the waterproofing system they installed works well.

Everdry Waterproofing Of Pittsburgh Response • May 03, 2018

We strive to provide good customer service along with customer satisfaction

#1 - A basement waterproofing system was installed that I did not need nor want. I specifically stated that I did not need a sump pump, but when I was shown the "finished" product, there was this hulking piece of equipment in my garage. I unplugged the power, it rained heavily since installation and it is bone dry. I told "Brandan" that I wanted it taken out. He said there would be "no refund".
#2 - These people JACKHAMMERED around the inside perimeter of my house for 4-5 days during Thanksgiving week. They did not properly seal the area which caused me to land in the hospital for 4 days. They won't reimburse me for the $1539.41 I had to spend on hospital, doctor and pharmaceutical bills. I had cement dust throughout my whole home upstairs and down, including in electronics. I have to hire a duct cleaning service and the doctor told me no to touch the dust downstairs.
#3 - I had them come out in the past months to not only clean up (which they're supposed to do and didn't), but repair cracked concrete, "erupting" concrete, complete a wall left undone and redo a shower that was halfway worked on.
#3 - My yard is full of rocks, they spiderwebbed my driveway worse than it had been by parking their dump truck on it.
#4 - Dug a 3" deep trench through my yard for a poorly relocated downspout (which they propped up with bricks) and left a mound of dirt the whole path of it
They've sent men out 3 times and there are still issues. I'm exhausted from dealing with these men. This is the shoddiest work I've ever seen. People have told men they'd be embarrassed to do work such as this.

Since I have heard this response before, I am requesting that Mr. B visit the job personally to allow me to point out the issues. When I asked one of the crew members (whose name I won't reveal here) if this was how they left everyone's house, he smiling replied, "No". I asked "why my house", but he had no response. I'm not trying to give this company a hard time, but the whole process and numerous return trips to my house have greatly distressed me, which is why I lost my patience with Mr. B and abruptly hung up, for which I apologize to him. The 4 days I spent in the hospital because I couldn't breathe exacerbated my temperament.
