We hoist over guests per yearPart of our Lodging Contract is a $100, 100% refundable Housekeeping deposit that is credited back to the Guests credit card When the Home is left the way the guest found it at chk-inWe do not make our $ by retaining guests housekeeping depositsWe simply ask
the guest to tidy up behind themselvesThe guest who has registered the complaint agreed to our Housekeeping deposit policy upon confirming the reservationThe cost of the single night lodging was agreed to upon reservation confirmation Last year (2015) out of sets of guests we retained Housekeeping deposits and of those were at the request of the guest The guest who registered this complaint left the Log Cabin in the wort shape we've seen a guest leave any of our Evergreen Colorado Vacation Cabins and Cottages in a very long timeAfter we informed the guest that we were retaining his Housekeeping deposit he called me and I explained whyHe said he should not have to tidy up behind himself as we outlined in his Lodging Contract that he agreed to upon reservation ConfirmationWe disagree !!Attached is the portion of the Lodging Contract that the guest agreed to.We appreciate your providing the opportunity for us to respond to this complaintOur published minimum stay is nightsWe made an exception for this guest after he called and requested our exception to our published minimumHe was told on the reservation confirmation phone call of the 100% refundable housekeeping deposit that would be returned to his credit card the day he checked out when the house was left the way he found it at chk-inHe agreed to the policy during that phone callHe received the written policy via Email in his reservation confirmation Email package that was Emailed to him on 6/25/16, a week prior to his stayattached is the portion of his lodging contract that is applicable to this discussion.
