Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Our purchase of home depot product's wwre cheaper than what EG offered and of better quality. The materials supplied by EG for constructions were not above standard materials, in fact we agreed to lower cost siding and personally supplied and installed marble counter tops and floors. EEG has not finished the punch list nor checked with us regarding weather conditions to see what can be scheduledNor have they addressed items we submited under their warranty. As for our choice to live in our RV during construction, that was always on the table and we did so based on EG giving us an end date of Nov 4th.There was no labor shortageEG waited months to fire an incompetent framer that they allowed to bid on every aspect of oyr homeI have texts from Cgris Laraway stating he has framers, and all others in place to finish our home after finally firing the original framerThese assets wwre mismanaged and had EG every conducted a quality control inspection during the build we would not have major issues. We just want our warranty items and punch list items and damage fixedWe want it done to our satisfaction. Lastly, the well drill cost was offset by a reduction in power to which an check was given to EGThere is no accounting for the 17,overage we were charged considering we still have no carport or finished shop as was indicated and agreed to on our signed contract.
Sincerely,

The Client had chose to move up early onto the property and was living in a camping trailer, in a more remote part of the mountains outside of Crouch, Idaho, while the construction of the home was going onA framing labor shortage from a local subcontractor, caused delays early to the project, in
this small mountain town, and delayed the completion of the homeOur local and treasure valley crews worked before and during the winter to get them into the home, so they were not in a camping trailer for the horrible winter we just hadA majority of the punch list has had to wait til spring, and the snow has left the ground on this remote mountain property, to be able to finish themOther Items on the list have been completedIt was even noted on the punch list the timing of said corrections and when they could occurThis custom home was over budget from the drilling of the well an has no basisItems delivered to the site were based upon the owners demand for the materials/quality, and in a comparison, we installed items, at their request, that came from Home Depot and not from our vendorsThis home closed thru a title company, with all parties in agreement to the price and the punch listThis complaint was filed during those winter storms while they were living in the home and not stuck in the trailer.EverGreen
