A professional shop told me I got ripped offIf there were more coats and the matte finish I asked for then this problem would not have occurredThe paint looks horrible right now and I feel like they should repaint it for free because they ripped me off the first timeWhy should I have to get more dollars into another paint job when they didn't do it right the first timeClearly this business aimed at a young year old thinking they could get away with itThis paint job you put on is the same as your 250$ pain job and I asked for the 1000$ one and paid over 1000$ for it and it looks horrible! The matte wax I used should of protected the matte finish and made it look better, it shouldn't of ate into the paintIt did because you guy did not do it rightYou cannot blame the chemical because the company Chemical Guys knows there products and can stand behind themBlame yourselfs for this incident and give me mymoney back or repaint it how I asked in the first place Regards, [redacted]

I am writing in response to complaint ***.On August 24, 2015, we painted the customer's carFive months later, the customer came to my shop and complained about peeling paint on the carI examined the car, and found that the customer applied some chemical on top of the paintHe told me he
had purchase this substance that was advertised on TV because he wanted to make the car look betterThis substance damaged the paint.I told the customer I would be happy to take care of the peeling paint, but the area that was damaged by the chemical is not covered by warrantyIf the customer had problems with the paint job, he should have brought the car back for us to take care of it instead of applying another substance on top of the paint.I offered to repaint the car if he is willing to pay for the materialsWe said we would be glad to give the labor for free.The customer proceeded to call Maaco headquartersAfter they heard the story, they sided with my shop.My offer still stands, as we aim to please the customer.Sincerely,Farzad S***

I am rejecting this response because:it was not the 1000$ paint job I asked for. There is only a base coat on the car! A professional shop told me I got ripped off. Why should I have to get 500 more dollars into another paint job when they didn't do it right the first time. Clearly this business aimed at a young 18 year old thinking they could get away with it. This paint job you put on is the same as your 250$ pain job and I asked for the 1000$ one and paid over 1000$ for it and it looks horrible!
