Dear Sir or Madam:Thank you for providing Evergreen Note Servicing with the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint involving billing or collection issues.
Our Account [redacted] paid off on September 19, 2016. Ms. [redacted] is contesting the number of past-due payments shown on our...
records prior to the payoff and has asked for proof.
Evergreen Note Servicing took over the account servicing rights of Meracord LLC effective November 25, 2013. At that time Meracord transferred its electronic records and paper files to Evergreen. The payment records we received showed an initial entry on 10/9/2007 with a first payment processed in that software system on 4/1/2009. The customer service tracking records we received went back to December 30, 2000. They do not contain any payment histories, but do track some of the activity on the account, including some year-end information.
The undersigned had an extensive telephone conversation with Mr. [redacted] on October 6, 2016 explaining what records were available, followed up with an email to Mr. [redacted] containing the payment history, year-end notes available and customer service notes. A copy of that email is attached. Because this response may be available to the general public, we have not included the attachments due to privacy concerns.
Evergreen has no access to any other information regarding this account. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] did receive year-end statements and have received monthly buyer statements showing the status of their account since April 1, 2009. The [redacted]s may wish to contact their contract seller and review their own tax returns for further information.

Fees seem a bit excessive with this company and they don't do a very good job of letting you know about them ahead of time. I requested a fee schedule so I could see where the extra money was going and then when my account was paid off almost another 500.00+ in fees without warning. If choosing this company please ask for the fees ahead of time so you know what to expect. ","neg-1
