Evergreen Pest and Termite

This company is a scam. They approach houses door to door and offer a one time introductory spray at a discounted price of $15. When you sign to allow them to spray you are actually signing a one year contract. Trying to get out of it is impossible. You cannot cancel the service. I still had scorpions after spraying. Even though they stopped coming out they sent my contract to collections. With late fees and penalties it amounts to over $300.00. Again, do not let this company onto your property.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.As the customer who held up their end of the contract agreement, we should not have to pay for the negligence of your company not holding their end of the contract agreement up. We did everything on our part as the customer to abide by the contract, but the company failed to honor its own contract terms, therfore we should not be held liable for payment due to your lack of service and communication within your staff/company. Due to your breach of your own contract, we request that the contract be ended and no payment due as the error was not on our part.  Had it been on our part, we would own up to our agreement, but it was not on our end, so you should own up to your agreement and let us out of the contract and not having to pay for services that you failed to render.Also, we received a postal mail correspondence from your company stating that you have made several attempts to contact us, but neither of us has received a phone call, voice message, text message or email from your company.  You have been dishonest about your attempts and we have proof from our phone company that you have, in fact, NOT tried to contact us one time.Regards,[redacted]

Termite Management

In response to the above complaint-We always put a time frame on each contract for the initial service that is to be done which is scheduled with the customer the day they sign the paperwork. It clearly states on their contract in the top right hand corner next to service time that...

their scheduled service was between 8 am and noon. That is why the technician showed up at 8am. We are willing to cancel the 4 remaining services but the $135 will need to be paid as the initial service was completed.
