Evergreen Products

Our building uses Evergreen/Metro Air LLC. When our individual units broke, we asked them to come in and take a look. I told them the system needed to be flushed. They came, didn't do that, just turn on/off the switch and said the HVAC was working. Yes, it worked for 30 mins and it stopped working again. I've been trying to reach them for more than a week, they're avoiding and redirecting my call to voicemails. I spoke with Anthony in the Servicing department and he said he'll investigate and call me back in 30mins. And he never did. Horrible service, horrible company. Please don't use them to service your HVAC. Worst customer service experience in my life.

Review: We have purchased in 2012 3 units for apartment ** at [redacted]. The units were promised to deliver economical and eco friendly heating and cooling ("Evergreen"). Delayed, sloppy and unprofessional assembly of the units was compensated by the company by extended warranty of 3 years. We have realized, unfortunately with great delay, (the apartment's certificate of occupancy was delayed and then the apartment was rented) that the unit's heating is not connected to the already available and prepaid steam provided by the condominium. The result is either complete lack of heating in the winter, or heating through an electric heater inside the unit which increased our electricity bill ten (10!) fold. Once, in late summer a technician from the company came, but could not test the heating, and promised to return in October to address the issue. We are without heating in the apartment since his visit. Over the last 5 days, five calls and 4 messages left (specifically to [redacted]) were not returned.

In addition to the lack of heating the following problems exist with the units:

1. unprofessional installation resulting in rattling and cold/hot air streaming through gaps in the outer wall.

2. displays are unreadable.

3. radiator elements arrived damaged.

At the above section of "primary nature of your complaint" if the software would have allowed, at least a dozen of your list of complaints would have been relevant.Desired Settlement: or full repair with units restored to working order including reliance on available steam/hot water from the building.
