Review: Subject: Evergreen Woods Inaccurate Information ProvidedEvergreen WoodsA Bright View Senior Living, LLC Facility owned by [redacted]###-###-####Before moving my parents into Evergreen Woods, we were assured by [redacted] that Assisted Living services would be available in their apartment at [redacted]. Mulitple times this question was asked and we were informed that they would be available. They moved into their apartment in February of this year. Three months later, my parents have had a change in health, and we desired to utilize the Assisted Living services. Evergreen Woods does not offer assisted living in their apartment and we have had to move into a different apartment at [redacted] to obtain these services last month. As the apartment is lower cost and smaller, they have had to forfeit $20,315 of their non-refundable deposit based upon the erroneous information provided. We are requesting that the price of the new apartment is reduced to compensate my parents for this loss. As the loss is a direct result of the incorrect information provided by [redacted], we should not be penalized.We have given a letter to [redacted], the Executive Director of Evergreen Woods on April 8, 2014 requesting a written response. Although a meeting was held that month, no written response has been provided. We have most recently discussed this matter with Evergreen Woods Executive Director, [redacted] on June 12, 2014 around noon. She as agreed that miss information has been given and we should know better. My sister works at the facility as an Occupational Therapist, but was unaware of the various levels of services offered at the various apartments. It is unethical to provide inaccurate information to the prospective clients and more concerning to people you are associated with. Although we were told the level of care is the same, Assisted Living and hourly supervision is only available in two floors at [redacted]. OnDesired Settlement: We are requesting that the price of the new apartment is reduced by $20,315 to compensate my parents for this loss.
