Evergro landscaping

Review: [redacted], **. Was hired to landscape land to make way for a pool with certain dimensions. Initially, the price was $1500, but in the middle of the work, he bumped it up to $1700, explaining that he underestimated the materials needed. Before he began work, I showed him the box in which the pool was shipped in, and which included a picture of the pool to show him what it looked like. He asked for the dimensions of the pool, and unbeknownst to me, I should have told him the exact dimensions I wanted flattened. When the work was done and he was paid, we began to install the pool. However, the landscaping was not done correctly. [redacted] did not gather information about the pool to know to create extra room for the pool's support beams. Thus, the pool did not sit correctly, and is currently falling apart because the foundation is incorrect. Upon discovering this issue, I contacted [redacted] and told him that he did the wrong dimensions. He replied by saying "I dug what you told me to, which is the dimension of the pool," and to which I replied "I showed you the box for you to look at, so as a professional, you should have known to give it extra space." He then told me that I was wrong, and that as the client, as opposed to the licensed professional landscaper, should have given him the exact dimensions because I should know the clearance, and that if I wanted it done over, he would have to charge me all over again. I regurgitated what he just said- that the client should know the exact dimensions, and NOT the professional, and he said "yes." Today, I contacted [redacted] from their sales dept., and he gave me a different story. He said that his procedure would include going as far as to contact the pool manufacturer to ensure that the professional got the right dimensions. So there is conflict here. The job was not done correctly/thoroughly, and now we are stuck with a pool that cannot be used due to the negligence of one of your "professionals."Desired Settlement: Refund of the job done, as well as replacement of the pool which was damaged due to the negligence of your landscaper.

We received today the above referenced complaint. [redacted] is not a client of Evergro Landscaping, Inc. Our company has never done work for her and has never received any type of payment.

In reference to the phone call to our sales rep [redacted], [redacted] did receive a phone call from a person claiming to be doing research for a friend who was purchasing a pool. The person asked very general questions and **. [redacted] was only able to provide a very general response. She never disclosed who she was or why she was calling.

Since Evergro Landscaping, Inc. was never hired to perform any service we can not provide a response to this complaint.

We received your follow up today. We have spoke to our employee [redacted]. and he said **. [redacted] is a former roommate and asked for his help as a favor. He did this for her on his own time and Evergro Landscaping, Inc. was not involved nor did we receive any payment for this work.
