Everlast Vinyl Products Reviews (6)

Fence installer will not return phone calls or answer emails. Fence has warranty issues that need to be fixed. We contacted Everlast Vinyl Products in April of 2014 to schedule the installation of a fence. The quoted price was $8270 and required a 50% down payment to lock in our install date. We paid the 50% down payment of $4135 in May with an install date of August 11, that was "locked in". After numerous phone calls, emails, excuses, and lies our fence was finally installed in November of 2014. The night he finally finished installation he demanded payment and if we didn't pay that night he threatened to tear the fence out the next day. We ended up paying as we thought the installation was complete. We found that the added post lights that he promised were never installed, the post covers for the gate didn't fit and the bottom rail of the fence was installed 6 inches off the ground not the 2 inches that was promised.[redacted]Desired SettlementI want the fence installed as originally promised. The bottom rail of the fence was supposed to be 2" off the ground, we have small dogs that can easily escape the yard due to the 6" gap. [redacted] also promised to install more post cap lights and failed to do so. The fence gate is unusable as the fence gate post has sunk about 2 inches and the latch no longer lines up, this needs to be fixed.

Complaint[redacted] The business and I entered into a written contract on May 7, 2014 for the supply and installation of a new fence at my residence. I provided a down payment of $2800.00 on that date, paying by [redacted]. It was agreed the fence would be installed the first week of June, 2014. When this did not happen I started calling and emailing Everlast. All I received by way of response was a series of lies, future promises and excuses. My fence has yet to be installed, Everlast does not return my calls or emails and has ignored my request for a refund of the $2800.00 deposit. Desired SettlementA refund of my deposit of $2800.00.

Even though this business is not Revdex.com accreditied, I thought if anyone ever looks here for this company they should be fairly warned........
First, the install is SLOOOOOOW. The owner continually gives a date then simply doesn't show up. No call, no email, no text, no explanation. Just nothing, over and over again.
Second, the slow install would be ok if the install was great, IT'S NOT. The install is probably the worst PVC fence install I've ever seen. Sloppy cuts in the vinyl, permanent marker marks on the vinyl still visible to the naked eye, gates are sloppy and poorly built and the posts are not even level. One word - TERRIBLE.
Third, usually common practice is to clean up after you are done working. Nope, these guys left my fence a dirty mess, didn't wipe it down or clean it properly. Also they had a bunch of scrap fencing and posts that they left in my yard for a week with no word on what they were doing with it so I finally moved it across the alley to an empty lot.
WORST PVC FENCE COMPANY in Regina hands down. I would avoid this place at all costs, there are better pvc company's in Regina, that do way better installs. Also the product used is all prety much the same across the board so don't let their claims of a superior product fool you, the product is OK, but definitely not top of the line lol. ","neg-1

Complaint[redacted] I hired this company to install a new PVC fence on my property. I paid $1750 (half) up front. Was told the fence would be installed within 2-3 weeks. Over 4 weeks passed and I still had not heard from the company. I called the owner and left several messages. When the owner finally called me back on Sept 2nd he told me that the fence should be done by the weekend. The fence did not get done and I left several telephone messages with no return phone call. The owner finally called me back on September 10th and told me that the fence would be installed that week or on the weekend. The installers never showed up or called to advise they weren't coming. I called the owner over the course of that week and did not receive return phone calls. My boyfriend then got involved and began calling and he did receive phone calls back. We were guaranteed that the work would be done Friday Sept 12th. Surprisingly no one showed up. I called the owner and he did not answer the phone so I called the installer. The installer [redacted] advised me that he had more 'important' jobs to do and that [redacted] they just would never come to install the fence. I ended the phone call and called the owner back. I called the owner 3 times that evening and he did finally answer the phone, [redacted] He then proceeded to tell me that 'they wouldn't be coming to install the fence'. When I advised him that I was his customer [redacted] he advised that I hadn't paid for the fence, I had only given a deposit for the work and that I could have my deposit back. [redacted] Through a later telephone conversation (that the owner had with my boyfriend) we were guaranteed that the fence would be installed the next day Sept 13th (after we had already asked for our deposit back). On Saturday the installers showed up around 2pm and spent approximately an hour at the house installing posts. The installers then left around 3pm. The installers showed up again on Sunday Sept 14th around 4:30pm and installed most of the fence. The installers did come back on the 16th to finish the work. The fence was now complete but very sloppy and useless. I have 3 small dogs which I advised the owner of originally. I had told him that the fence and gate needed to be as close to ground level as possible because the entire purpose for the fence is to have the yard secure for my dogs. The finished fence was 6-7 inches above ground level in most places and the gate was almost 9 inches above ground level. We had to place wood around the base of the fence to stop the dogs from simply walking underneath. The owner called my boyfriend on Sunday Sept 21st and wanted to collect payment to rest of the fence. When he arrived, I told him the issues and what needed to be fixed. His installers have since fixed most of the issues, however the back part of our fence still has not been lowered and the gate has been lowered, however the gate is badly scratched and damaged and has at least 6 very large screw holes from where they removed hardware to lower the gate. The owner has called me several times wanting payment and I have advised that I am not paying for the remainder of the work until it is finished properly. He advised that the rails on our gate are to be replaced around October 4th. I advised that I would pay for the remainder of the fence at that time. [redacted] Desired SettlementI refuse to pay for an uncompleted job. I have already paid 50% of the total and I believe that as a consumer it is my right to refuse to pay for the rest until the work is completed. [redacted]

On July 25, 2014 Everlast Vinyl Products attended my property to give a price quote to remove an old fence on the north side of my yard and replace it with a new vinyl fence and locking gate. A quote was issued and a 50% deposit was required and given. Booking date was originally set for Sept. 15, 2014. I was to notify EVP when they could access my yard which I did early in September. EVP said they had a cancellation in September and would begin my job on September 11. No one from EVP showed up on that date nor did I receive any notification from them as to when they would be coming out. I waited almost two weeks before calling. It was difficult to get ahold of EVP but I finally got a response from them and a promise that work would begin on the weekend of Sept. 26 which again resulted in a no-show and no word from the company. I have made several attempts to contact EVP since but have gotten no response. The Revdex.com was notified on October 17 regarding this matter.[redacted]Desired SettlementI would like to recover the $1500.00 deposit.

Complaint[redacted]Gave him a deposit of 1200 dollars on may 6th and now it is July 16th and still no fence he will not answer my calls or texts Desired SettlementInstall the fence or give me my 1200 dollar deposit back
