Everlasting Stoneworks Reviews (%countItem)

Incomplete work. Seller has failed to complete the work that I paid for.
Asking for a full refund of $873 from *** at Everlasting Stonework. $873 was sent May 10th, 2018 to *** as a deposit via certified mail for stonework to be made and placed at my mother's gravesite. The $873 was an initial payment of $1745. I agreed to pay the second payment of $872 after the stonework was complete. 5/16/19 *** emailed me stating that she received my payment and stones take up to 6-8 weeks to process and that she would email me in 6 weeks with an update. *** did not email within 6 weeks with an update so I emailed *** 7/21/19 asking for an update. 7/24/19 *** emailed back stating she was loading the stones and that they were to be set that night or the next morning. I was informed 8/7/19 that the stone was set in place at my mother's gravesite. I emailed *** back 8/8/19 informing her that the death year was wrong. *** emailed back the same day 8/8/19, stating that she would redo the stonework. I agree that it was fine as long as the stone was complete by Thanksgiving 2019. 10/9/19 I emailed *** inquiring about the status of the new stonework as it usually takes 6-8 weeks to make. 10/11/19 *** emailed me back stating she had been on vacation but she would check with her supplier. *** never emailed me back with an update so I emailed her 10/15/19 inquiring again about the stone. I stated that I needed the stone complete by Thanksgiving 2019. 10/22/19 I sent another email stating that I was getting worried that stonework wouldn't be done in time for Thanksgiving. 10/22/19 *** emailed me back stating she just got back from vacation and how she got "hit with a bug really bad". She then stated she would call her supplier. *** never emailed me back, so 10/23/19 I sent *** a long email explaining my frustration with her inconsistent communication and how I shouldn't have to keep emailing her asking for updates as her customer. 10/25/19 *** emailed me back stating she had not received a call from her supplier so she spoke with someone above in the sales rep. She informed me that a new shipment would be arriving Friday Nov 22nd and that she would be setting the stone that weekend before Thanksgiving. While I was visiting Florida for the Thanksgiving week, my husband and I visited my mother's grave on Thanksgiving 11/29/19 and the new corrected stone was not set. I immediately emailed *** with a picture of the old stonework stating that it was not changed as she stated. In that email, I asked for a refund. *** emailed me back 12/5/19 stating she was trying to get the stone from Georgia and that my stone was not the only stone she had been having problems with. She also acknowledged and stat e she understood my frustration. 12/6/19 I emailed *** again stating my frustration and how I understanding of her situation. As a compromise I stated that I would like a refund OR she can correct the grave on the terms of me not sending the second payment of $872. *** did not email back. 12/11/19 I emailed *** for a last time stating that I was still waiting for a response. In the beginning of this process *** was an effective communicator and was consistent. After the initial stone was set and incorrect *** has been inconsistent with communication she has has not obliged to the dates that she given me via emails. I am now being ignored by *** and would like a full refund of the $873. I also have all the emails between myself and *** that I am referring to in this complaint.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of $873 as the business has not fulfilled the work for which I paid for.
