Review: A friend and myslf purchased a total of 4 English bulldogs from this breeder with known intentions of showing, DNA testing and breeding. All 4 dogs are between the ages of 6-7 months of age currently. One of the 4 dogs in question sadly my friend no longer owns. After only 1 week of owning this frail puppy he was diagnosed with Megaesophagus, and she was fully refunded of the purchase price and the dog was reliqished to a rescue per the breeder choice. As our dogs have grown they have strayed further and further away from the breeds standard. The dogs DO NOT LOOK like English bulldogs as my vet aggree's. I have personally been asking The [redacted] of Ever-so-english-bulldogs for a compromise and to please refund us in full for these dogs which are not fit for breeding and need to be steralized. The [redacted] refuses to do so saying he sold us a dog with [redacted] paper work and that they fit [redacted] standard. Not true at all! [redacted] has been contacted to launch and investigation to find out what the breed of these dogs in question are, and to look into the owners breeding stock and practices. I recently took my 7 month old male puppy to the vet 06-04-14 he is having petit mals-localized to the head only. The breeder is being un-cooperative, and will not return my husband nor myselfs call stating that he is on vacation, so we have had no choice but to text him and wait for reply's. I also have physicasl evidence of false advertising by the breeder, leading others to believe they are getting true quality english bulldogs. I also have photos of the 3 dogs we are disputing are not [redacted] standard and possibly not pure English bulldogs.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for my 2 dogs I purchased through the breeder in the total of $4,000 plus all vet bills incured since taking posession of said puppy's. I (WE) did not get quality nor [redacted] standard puppy's. This breeder has been misleading and using false advertising to sell his dogs.

Response:

Revdex.com Case # [redacted]

I have been a breeder of Quality Family Pets for 20 + years. I only sell

[redacted] registered, pure bred English Bull dogs. I have never sold [redacted] English Bull

dogs. I do not sell Show Quality English Bull dogs nor do I state that on my

business page. Per the clients post on my business [redacted] page (which I have)

she was looking for a” family pet” and contacted me.

I as a breeder cannot control and never claim to have control over how pups

will mature. If testies will drop or if females are fertile.

Upon being contacted by the client, I informed them I was out of the state

( on vacation ) and would return within a few days. They started texting none

stop and I tried to respond to all, they informed me that puppy was having seizures

and would be taking him to the vet. They allowed me to speak with their vet,

who informed me she did not know what I expected her to say but that the

clients brought puppy in, and the vet did not see any signs of seizure at that

moment and had no understanding as to why the puppy would be experiencing

seizures. The vet did say that the clients changed the puppy’s food, from a raw

dog food to another food source.

I reminded the client that per the contract they had read and signed that

my one year health plan only covered Life threatening conditions, that upon

proof of this and a conformation from my vet, a refund would be offered or a

puppy exchange.

Then I was informed by her that she only wanted a show dog and not a pet.

Client first purchased one pup and two weeks later purchased another saying she

was interested in breeding. There was never any discussion of Show Quality

Dogs, which I do not sell. Client stated that these dogs were probably not [redacted]

and from what they had read online they did not qualify as Show Quality

standard either.

The clients are more than welcome to pay for DNA testing for parentage.

The client also states the dogs are not fit for breeding and should be

sterilized due to their looks and for not being [redacted] Quality Show Dogs. Client

wishes a refund founded on nothing but their idea that the dogs do not look a

certain way. This is not warrant for a refund or exchange.

As for the client saying they are not [redacted] standard, I quote from [redacted]

website “The following list is for show quality dogs, in different levels and

degree. If the Bull dog does not have these things they are not "show

quality" End quote, but this in no way implies they are not [redacted] pure bred.

To show what I am thinking is really going on, this is how things have

transpired, from Dec-May client had a [redacted] page completely dedicated to

the dogs and their love for them. Then in late May client posts a picture on

the [redacted] page of her friends English Bull dog puppy with a comment “the

perfect English bull dog ". Then immediately

after I receive texts on seizures and when I inform client that I would need a

vet certified letter stating puppy has a life threatening condition in order

for her to receive a refund she then started on this is not a [redacted] standard show

quality dog like she wanted. And again demanded a refund. Numerous times I

informed her of the contract and of the [redacted] parentage, she then posted

derogatory statements about me and my company, [redacted] and also

threatened court action if refund was not given immediately.

I have tried to work completely with the clients to settle this

misunderstanding, but feel there is no resolve to be made, due to buyer just

seeming to want a refund for purchase of a better looking or different puppy.

In closing as I have stated to the clients my contract is very clear, these

are not reasons for a refund or exchange. If it is not a Life threatening

condition the sale is final. Again I state they read, agreed and signed the

contract.

If in the year contract time I receive confirmation from a certified vet

that the pup is in deed experiencing a life threatening condition and it is

verified by my vet I will as I have stated throughout offer a refund or

exchange of puppy.

Sincerely,

[redacted] of Eversoenglishbullsdogs

Response:

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have not posted derogatory statements! I have shown proof of what I have been stating all along. As to the photo you are referring to just so happens to be the puppy that was a replacement from the sick puppy (megaesophogus) you did sell to another client (My friend from a different breeder). As you have many times stated you only care about your puppy's well being and health! That proved to be un true because regardless of your "VACATION" there should have not been one issue with calling in regards to the dog. The dogs are not quality regardless that they can not be shown, you have been authorized to speak with our veterinarian. Whether you have in fact spoken with [redacted] is another story. Dutchess was basically ripped away from her mother way to soon as the law states no puppy should be sold before 8 weeks of maturity! I took the dog home at 5 1/2 weeks old! I have tried to maintain civility regarding this matter, I will never recommend anyone to purchase a puppy from you ever. There was nothing to be done as far as looking into the matter until the puppy's were at least 6 months into maturity! As far as beefy's diet it was NOT a cause of switching from RAW to Dog food as I explained in the million text messages I sent to you while you were on vacation. The suspicion did not just arise it has been there we just had to wait and be patient. I am happy that you edited your photos of OTHER breeders puppy's, and now the public knows that those are NOT eversoenglishbulldogs! So they will not expect to have the short hefty, large head that succeeds the English bulldog appearance. The fact is (PER our texting months ago) you talked me into buying a female from you stating that they could still be bred even though they shared the same father! I have all of the texts to prove everything I really have to say about you and your character. I would appreciate even a partial refund, and return both dogs to you. I have no interest in purchasing another dog from anyone after this experience.

Regards,
