THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!! I LIVED IN AN APT IN PASCO AND RENTED THROUGH EVERSTAR, WE HAD HAD SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH THEM WHILE RENTING DUE TO COMPLAINTS BY NEIGHBORS. ALL COMPLAINTS THOUGH FALSE WERE TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND I HAD TO COME HOME TO NOTICES ON MY DOOR AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK THREATENING THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO "CHANGE" OR PAY THEM. WE SIGNED A ONE YEAR LEASE AND IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE UNTIL THE END OF APRIL, INSTEAD THEY GAVE US A TERMINATION OF TENANCY AND GAVE US ONE WEEKEND TO PACK ALL OF OUR THINGS AND LEAVE THE APARTMENT. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH THE SITUATION WE COMPLIED AND CLEANED THE APARTMENT SPOTLESS. WHEN I WENT TO DO A WALK-THROUGH WITH [redacted] SHE HAD WRITTEN ON A STICKY NOTE ON A FOLDER "CALL THIS CRACK HO WHEN YOU GET BACK" AND THEN GAVE MY NAME. [redacted] HAD LEFT THE FOLDER IN PLAIN SIGHT ON OUR KITCHEN COUNTER, AFTER I CONFRONTED HER ABOUT IT SHE SAID "IM SORRY THAT IS MY TYPE OF HUMOR AND YOU WERE A B[redacted] TO ME ON THE PHONE BEFORE" (I HAD NEVER TALKED TO HER ON THE PHONE). AFTER THE WALK-THROUGH I DROVE DIRECTLY TO EVERSTAR TO SPEAK WITH THE OWNER TO ADVISE HER OF WHAT HER EMPLOYEE DID, HOWEVER SHE WAS IN A MEETING. MY BOYFRIEND AND I BOTH LEFT OUR NUMBERS FOR HER TO CALL US BACK. THE NEXT DAY SHE HAD CALLED MY BOYFRIEND AND APOLOGIZED TO HIM ONLY AND TOLD HIM SHE WOULD BE SENDING [redacted] HOME WITH NO PAY FOR 3 DAYS. MEANWHILE WE WERE APPLYING FOR ANOTHER APARTMENT AND I CALLED THE LADY TO SEE IF WE WERE APPROVED YET OR NOT, SHE SAID SHE WAS JUST WAITING ON A FAX FROM [redacted], I TOLD HER THAT SHE SHOULD NOT BE THERE AND THAT MY BOYFRIEND WAS TOLD SHE HAD A 3 DAY SUSPENSION WITH NO PAY, THEN THE LADY SAID THAT SHE ALREADY GOT A FAX EARLIER THAT MORNING FROM [redacted]. I GOT MAD THAT WE WERE LIED TO AND CALLED [redacted] THE OWNER AND ASKED WHY [redacted] WAS THERE SHE RESPONDED WITH "IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUISNESS WHAT I DO WITH MY EMPLOYEES SHE IS WORKING FOR 3 DAYS BUT SHE IS NOT GETTING PAID IF YOU MUST KNOW." SHE DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE TO ME ABOUT WHAT HER EMPLOYEE HAD SAID ABOUT ME. IN CONCLUSION [redacted], [redacted], AND [redacted] ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET AND I AM SHOCKED TO SEE THAT I AM THE ONLY COMPLAINT ON HERE!!!! GOOD LUCK IF YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Review: We rented a single family home on a 12 month lease through Everstar Realty and renewed the lease 3 times. Throughout the lease, we ran into issue after issue with the homeowners having unreasonable expectations of us...a sentiment shared by the Everstar staff in both writing and recorded verbal conversations. Then, approaching the end of the 4th year in the home, we communicated to both Everstar and the home's owners of our intentions not to renew the lease as we were in the process of purchasing a home. Prior to moving out, we followed the cleaning/move-out instructions provided by Everstar and had a team in the home for 3 days once it was empty to ensure every inch was cleaned inside and out. We replaced any lights that were no longer functional, put in a new furnace filter, and even filled the holes in the wall that the homeowner had left 4 years ago. However, when Everstar came and inspected the home, they noted many preexisting issues with the home which had already been identified on our original move-in paperwork and then tried to charge us to fix or replace them. On top of that, they made several claims against us for services and supplies which were never actually performed/used. Having worked in property management previously, I thought I had witnessed just about every kind of dishonest behavior related to property turnover. However, I have never seen a company so blatantly dishonest in the way it on-boards, manages, and then releases clients. I can understand that people can occasionally make mistakes or misspeak, but the widespread intentional pattern of cheating clients I have seen in working with Everstar goes well beyond what can be dismissed as accidental.Desired Settlement: I expect Everstar to review the charges it is claiming that we owe upon moving out of the home and revise them to reflect only repairs of items not already damaged, remove charges for supplies and services which were never provided, and align those things which are charged to market norms. (e.g., we had 4 reputable bids before having the carpets cleaned 48 hrs before moving out. All 4 came in at half the price you charged to clean them when they had just been cleaned!)

From conversations with the homeowners and Everstar staff, I know that the homeowners already wanted to paint the homes interior and make other minor changes regardless. So, trying to charge us 60% of that cost (again heavily inflated from all 3 of the bids we received) is dishonest...especially as we never put even a small nail hole in most of the walls of the home. You cannot just use tenants moving out as an excuse to squeeze money out to redecorate at your whim.

I rented a home from EverStar and really appreciated the friendly and professional manner that they had. They went out of their way to work with me on timing and other issues. I would recommend them!
