*** *** had his *** *** had a full detail on Saturday June 6th at 8amWhen he dropped car off we went over the car and what he wanted done things associated with the detail, plus he asked me to install a licence plate bracket, perform touch up paint work and to put down his
new floor mats that were in the trunkI could tell he was very particular about his car so we took the car in and were extra careful to make sure we didnt miss anythingThe car was finished with all extras done at no additional chargeHe looked at car and said he was happy with it then paid his bill. Tuesday evening I noticed he left me a nasty *** review stating I did a horrible job including damage to his interiorI tried to contact him then to find out details and resolve thisNever heard back. Friday the 12th I get the letter from Revdex.com and I called him looking for detailsHe called me backHe told me that the pad attatched to carpet on the left side of drivers compartment was damagedAlong with a rip in the carpet along side padI explained to him that in no way did I cause damage to itI continued to tell explain to him that this is part of the floor where you rest your feet and what he was seeing was wear and tear and most cars with that usage show the exact wearThe car came in with poor fitting floor mats and there was alot of salt and sand in that part of the carpetWe vacuumed and extracted all of his carpets and seats as he wantedIn no way did we damage his carpet, we used the same tools to clean the seats which are far more delicate*** continued to insist we damaged it and it was not like thatI then told him I could not admit to damaging it that the car is and old rental ( which he told me) and hundreds of people have driven it and rested there foot there of course it will be showing all kinds of wear in that spotWhen I placed his new factory *** floor mat down it practically showcases this worn spotHe wants me to admit to something I did not doI told him that my policy was to not charge someone for a service if they were not happyI offered him his money back in the form of a company check for $only if he withdrew his *** review which was completely unneccasaryHe said that he was sorry that he didnt contact me first and agreed to withdraw the reviewI asked him to call me on monday the 15th and let me know how he made out so I could put the check in the mailI have not heard from him since, review is still on ***Ive been in business since and never once had a customer unhappy or had to refund a pennyI strive to make sure of itI have a feeling this customer would not have been happy no matter what was doneIm sorry that he is my first and hopefully the last
