Good Afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to forward Mr [redacted] ’s complaint (# [redacted] )We appreciate the opportunity to clarify what we think is a simple misunderstanding Our business takes pride in satisfying our customers to the fullest extent of our capabilitiesPer our process and procedures, any quotes made over the phone include clarification that the agreed upon estimated price of labor and parts are to be made official upon arrival of dropping of their unit Many times, parts and labor cannot be fully quoted without inspection of the unit by our mechanicOnce the unit arrives at our business, the mechanic will provide a more accurate quote after inspecting the unit, in which the customer authorizes the repair by signing our company Repair Order form In this case, Mr [redacted] was provided general information regarding our labor rate via telephone without our mechanic seeing the unitUpon arrival at our shop to drop off the unit, our mechanic inspected the unit and estimated a cost of $ Our mechanic and office manager communicated this information to Mr [redacted] A Repair Order was presented to Mr [redacted] with a quote of $Mr [redacted] then provided written authorization of the quoted price as per the attached, and left his unit to be repairedUpon picking up his unit, Mr [redacted] paid cash for the full agreed upon price of $ We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, and are hopeful that our attempt to explain our business practices along with the specific scenario is suffice for Mr [redacted] to accept our apologies Sincerely, [redacted] Owner - Everything Metric Cycles [redacted]
