Review: I contracted Everything Pool Tables to break down my table and return at a later date to put it back together and re-felt it. The break down was fine. When they returned to put the table back together, it was not done properly. The problems are as follows: (1) there are ripples in the felt along the rails; (2) it was shimmed under the rails rather than leveling the slate; (3) the pockets are not properly secured or flush with the table; (4) there are ridges along the rails that were not there previously; (5) the wood that butts up to the pockets is exposed and not covered with felt as it should be.

I contacted [redacted] regarding my concerns and he said he would return to address them. When he came back, he looked at the table and said everything was fine with it and had no intention of fixing any of the issues. He left without doing anything to correct the problems.

I have since had to contact another company to come and repair the improper installation at an additional cost to me. I initially paid [redacted] $850 for his work and have had to pay another company $600 to have it corrected.Desired Settlement: I would request a refund for the the re-felting and set-up of the table. I paid $500 for the break-down and re-setting and an additional $350 to re-felt the table. I am seeking a refund of $600.00

Review: in September 2012 we contracted with [redacted] of Everything Pool Tables to restore a 1920's [redacted] first ball return antique pool table. The restoration was going to take a year and the agreement was to make payments as materials for the restoration were ordered. We gave [redacted] a $500.00 down payment on the contract. The agreement was that the restoration job would cost $3500.00. Throughout the year we stayed in verbal contact with [redacted] as he told us of the progress with the materials being ordered and replaced on the table. In August of 2013 we were completing the remodel of our rec room to accommodate the antique 9 foot table and spoke at length with [redacted] on the table being finished. He told me that table was complete and that he would store the table until our rec room was finished. We agreed that the table would be installed the weekend after Thanksgiving and upon delivery we would pay the final $500.00 upon inspection of the work. As Thanksgiving approached, we received a call from [redacted] that the leather pockets were not finished and that there would be a delay until Christmas for them to come from Brunswick. Christmas came and 2014 was welcomed in. We had been calling [redacted] about the delivery of the table with no response. He finally called us to say the cost of the pockets was $400.00 more than he originally quoted and he could not order them until we paid him more money. My husband negotiated the price and agreed to pay for the pockets when the table was delivered. They set the date of February 10th to install the table. Upon arrival, my husband, refused to accept the table it was filthy and in worse condition than when we gave the table to [redacted]. Mud and dust covered the table and chunks of wood was missing from the sides. This was not a restored table. [redacted] then claimed he never agreed to restore the table even though his invoice to us clearly stated that.Desired Settlement: We would like both our tables returned to us as [redacted] is storing a new table that was going to be delivered to a site for my husband's customer and we want our $3,000.00 back for the poor workmanship. Presently [redacted] is unwilling to correct the poor work and is refusing to refund our money.
