In reference to complaint on ID [redacted], which was submitted on 2-6-2014, the customer bought a 2000 Subaru on 1-7-2014 from Evette’s Used Cars. On 1-10-2014 the customer called and advised that the car had run hot to the point it stopped running. If a car is run so hot it will stop running and will not start up.
We referred him to [redacted] and Mechanic Shop. [redacted] towed the car to his shop. According to the complaint by the customer, [redacted] is Evette’s Used Cars’ mechanic. Evette’s Used Cars has several mechanics. The reason [redacted] was recommended is, he could tow it.
According to our records the customer works in [redacted], and this was a very cold day. According to the news, several cars were frozen up.
I would like to say this customer has bought 2 cars in the past from Evette’s Used Cars.
Evette’s Used Cars has been in business 50 years, and has been on [redacted] for 35 years. Please check my records and see how many complaints I have had. I’m sorry this happened to this customer’s car.
