Dear Revdex.com,I, [redacted] , was most disturbed to receive the above referenced complaint in light of the care and accommodations that were provided to [redacted] *** The charge for the appliance in question was $with an additional charge of $for a retainer With a balance of $remaining on [redacted] ***’s account, a complaint was registered that involved a misunderstanding of the brand of appliance that was being made specifically for the patient On March *, a price adjustment was made as an act of good faith and the patient expressed a desire to be treated by another dentist, I feel a doctor and patient should respect and appreciate each other and as such the patient doctor relationship was deemed severed as of March *, [redacted] received her Clear Correct case for $and the retainer was delivered to her at no cost though it came with a price of $which was waived The patient received products and services for a fraction of the actual cost and in spite of that the complaint in question was brought against my office I did the work, lost money in the process and in spite of trying to help [redacted] I have been the subject of this unsubstantiated unflattering, meritless complaint It appears that she wanted the best of products and services and never intended to pay for them The Clear Correct products have brought joy to many of my patients as they will for [redacted] who made a nominal payment for superior care and superior products My practice works with patients of all economic abilities because good dental care is important for everyone's health and well being I never based my care on one's ability to pay and my caring for this patient has been thrown in my face for no reason The bottom line is that [redacted] took advantage of my good nature, got her dental appliance at a greatly reduced cost and has no legitimate complaint to register to this tribunal Any review should be determined in my favor.Sincerely, [redacted] [redacted]
