I usually don't take the time to write reviews, in fact this is the first time I've ever written one.

However, my experience with this company, Evique RM, in general and the owner, [redacted] in particular, has been so bad, you must read this and avoid doing any business with them.

In October of 2014, I purchase a pull out couch for my home office-second bedroom and made it clear that this was a single door of an older home. Assured it would be delivered in 8 days, I waited three weeks.

The couch would not fit through the doorway. Ok, stuff happens and, I was told, that a replacement frame would be made and that I should keep the old one in the mean time in my living room, though taking up more space than I have room for at least it would accommodate the guests I had coming for the holidays in some way.

Here's where the lies and deceit became blatant. On no less than 6 occasions I waited at home for this couch. Not only was I told delivery was imminent, I was told it was on the truck. Nothing, no couch, no calls, no communication.

After the first three I was told for an additional 750.00 there would be a modified frame delivered, and that it was being held by the factory till the fee was settled. Mind you no additional fee was discussed (though reasonable I don't expect work to be done for free)

Then there were additional excuses/lies. legs had to be painted, panel needed for the back; on and on for, what are now months when the piece to my understanding was already completed and going through a 5 day "quality control" inspection.

When I finally tried to voice my frustration after months, I got treated like a child, the most common response being "I don't see what the issue is?"


I simply don't believe any of the positive comments about this guy or company. After trying to work with him and reason through, I've come to the conclusion that he simply doesn't care and doesn't tell the truth.

If after reading this and the other very graphic and negative stories, if you don't shop somewhere else, well, you've been warned.

It is quite simply the worst shopping experience I have ever had. Please believe me, this guy is bad news.
