Evolusion Fitness

Review: Evolusion Fitness has now merged with [redacted] in [redacted] and Evolusion is closing and all members must go to the site at [redacted] in [redacted]. I don't want to workout at [redacted], and if did I would have joined it in the first place. I went to cancel my month to month membership and was told I had to give them 30 days. Fine. But since I went in on July [redacted], 30 days would not cover August [redacted], so I would then be billed for 2 months. What? I tried to work it out with the [redacted]", (was not given his last name and told I couldn't have it, though I can FOIL it since it is a gym and I am sure there are many public documents he has to complete in order to run a gym) but could not even get him on the phone. Instead he has his [redacted] call. When "[redacted]" merged with [redacted], he should have given the gym's membership an option to join that gym. I signed an agreement with Evolusion. I was told that there is a clause that he could move the gym. This is not a move, this is a merge and a change in brand. Unethical and greedy.Desired Settlement: I would like to make sure that I am not charged for August as I am willing to compromise and give the 30 day fee. The fact that he wants August fees too displays an unethical level of greed on "[redacted]s" part.
