Evolution Ink Reviews (4)

I live in GA and had sent money to my sister to book appointments for when I came up to visitShe had done so with one of the guys, but it turns out he pocketed the money and never booked the appointments so none of us got our tattoos, or any sort of compensationIt's sad that I have to complain about this because the guys do great work but after this, I don't think I'll ever go back there after this

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Evolution ink chose to challenge the credit card company on the first transaction and claimed they had performed the work and not been paid, when in fact they have been, and in the process submitted false paperwork to the credit card company to do so.  We have been charged for two transactions and have had Evolution Ink claim individually that both were earned, even though only one was earned.  Attached are copies of emails I have sent to try and resolve the issue with Evolution ink that have gone ignored.  We would like $2,375 refunded on our card, because they only earned one payment.

Regards,

Evolution Ink never challenged anything.  Evolution Ink received payment from the business on behalf of another company, due to the owner being out of state.  The work performed for the business was not completed by Evolution Ink, we rented out a bay for the install to be completed by another company.  We received a response from our credit card company that the business had no knowledge of the charge and was disputing it and that the funds were going to be take out of our account.  Please see the below e-mails that are copied word for word.

I'm not understanding how this company feels that we are trying to fraud them when it is clearly stated in the below e-mails that he disputed the charge and then told us to re-run his card and gave his credit card information.  At this time we are under the impression that the funds are owed to [redacted] - the funds are and have been sitting in the account that we had to suspend due to the issues this matter has caused - the funds are sitting there waiting for [redacted] to pull the funds.  We are having a difficult time reaching someone at [redacted] and last that we were informed was that [redacted] refunded the business their money and we are now owing [redacted].

We are MORE THAN HAPPY to clear this matter just as long as we have proof stating that we are no longer owing [redacted] and are provided proof that the business had been double charged with no credit being applied back from [redacted] to the business.

[redacted] has withdrawn $2,291.57 from your bank account

Hello Evolution Ink,

[redacted] will debit your [redacted] account in the amount of $2,291.57. The funds will be withdrawn in 1-2 business days.

This is a result of issuing a refund, receiving a chargeback, a renewal of subscription pricing, or an account adjustment.

Thanks,

The [redacted] Team[redacted]

Re: Billing or Collection...

Issues

Minneapolis, MN  55418

Evolution Ink was never hired by [redacted] to print nor install a vehicle wrap - none of the work to complete this job was completed by Evolution Ink.

A bay was rented out by [redacted] who owns [redacted] whom had their own employees install the wrap for this company.  The only part Evolution Ink took in this transaction was renting out a bay to [redacted] to complete the work and accepting payment from [redacted] on behalf of [redacted], due to the owner being out of state at the time.

Evolution Ink made it well aware that we were accepting payment on behalf of [redacted] and this company understood.  We accepted the initial down payment of $1,375 on 9/13/13 and the final payment of $1,000 on 9/17/13.  These funds were issued to [redacted] on 9/19/13, check number 1120.

We were then notified on 10/16/13 that this company disputed the charges stating "they had no knowledge of the transaction", and the transaction was reversed.  We had contacted [redacted] to have the issue resolved (please see the attached e-mail chain).  [redacted] was well aware that the charge never went through and had given us written authorization to rerun their card (please see the e-mail chain).  ** Please note that on 10/16/13 is when [redacted] was aware of the issues, and after many phone calls, texts and e-mails, he finally resolved the issue on 11/5/13. **

Due to this issue it ended up creating a huge mess with [redacted] (card reader company) and our checking account due to the funds being withdrawn and deposited and withdrawn.  Please understand that not only were we out the funds from [redacted], but we were also out the funds that we had already paid to [redacted] - that is over $4k.  We had to suspend the account and open a new account.  This also created a huge inconvenience due to the fact that [redacted] suspended our account and we couldn't accept any further card charges, and not only did [redacted] suspend our card swiping privilege but it also put a negative mark on Evolution Ink with the banking industries.  Evolution Ink has been very patient due the issues that [redacted] has caused, and it is unbelievable and very disturbing to receive this type of complaint after not receiving any communication from [redacted].

As of today, we have been having the biggest issue with trying to reach an actual person at [redacted] to resolve this issue.  As far as Evolution Ink is aware, the funds are owed to [redacted] and the funds have been sitting in the suspended account pending for them to pull the funds back out.

I'm unclear as to how these funds are owed to [redacted] and [redacted].  Proof is needed stating that Evolution Ink is no longer owing these funds to [redacted] and that [redacted] was indeed double charged.  We need to have actual contact with [redacted] and proof that the negative reporting against Evolution Ink have been removed.

Thank you,

Evolution Ink
