Went with my son to buy his first car, a used 2016 Nissan Altima the last week of March. Was told the second set of keys was locked upstairs and we needed to come back the next day. Went back the next day and was told they are looking for it and come back the following week. Went back the following week and was told that there was no extra key and that I would have to pay for it. Told them I was not paying for the missing key and I also asked them where the owners manuals were for the car. I was told they were in the car. The salesman went out to look with me and we couldn't find them. He told me they would have to order them and would have them in a couple of weeks. Eight calls later and 6 stops to the dealer and they still had not received any of the missing parts for the car. It is now 6/12/18 and yesterday they finally got my son a new key. They still have not got the manuals for the car. We are done waiting for the manuals and went to a Nissan dealer who got us a complete set in 4 days and it cost me $35! Based on this experience I will tell my family and friends to stay away from this company.

I spoke with customer this morning and apologized for the lack of communication and all the inconvenience. I advised customer I would be more than happy to reimburse him for the owners manual he purchased and I will also send him a restaurant card as well for the multiple trips. Customer is happy with outcome and was a pleasure speaking to.

Well, I was enjoying my new vehicle. Brought it home Friday, parked it in the driveway until we were going to go to Easter at my in laws house on Sunday . Start pulling out of the driveway and there's a puddle of oil from the Verano on the ground. So I had to figure out where and why it was coming from. I come to find out it was from who ever did the old change, in which I don't think it was done at all because the old looked and smelled old. Vehicle says it had 97% left, it should not look black. But back to the reason the oil was leaking. There is a rubber o ring when you take the oil filter cap off. It was broke, hanging out of the cap, a leaf stuck in between the cap and the engine block. So I had to go to the parts store on Easter, get a new cap and o ring, because they did not just have the o ring for sale by itself and I needed it now. Also I am going to do an oil change on it because of the condition of the oil. Also the right front tire is leaking. The left rear tire has a piece cut out of the sidewall. The right rear tire has a bulge sticking out of it, and a piece of the sidewall of the tire had been damaged. I looked at the tread on the tires upon arriving at your dealership, never thought to look at the outside condition of them. As I would have thought that would have been noticed upon inspection at the dealership. THESE TIRES SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED. The air filter was completely horriblely dirty, had to be replaced. Back to the oil leaking. I had to put the car up on ramps, try and clean all the oil I could get to off the engine and bottom plastic cover. I spent over an hour outside taking care of this oil mess on Easter, missing dinner with family. Not happy about any of it...Vehicle has been to Sheboygan Chevrolet two times for warranty work now and waiting on a new winshield wiper motor, since it works when it want to. I did receive and email back about this topic but all I was offered was a CAR WASH, really!!! Completely and total unsatisfied about the aftercare that I have been given about all of this. Sent messages on their facebook site that I will glady share with you also. waiting for responses for more than two weeks. Very very unprofessional business and communication with customers.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Their response to this matter does not resolve anything, just says that want to "look" at them and replace them. It does not say whether or not if there is any cost to me, besides the gas and my time of traveling to the dealership.

Regards

My wife and I were in the Market for a new car back in 2015. We stopped in this dealership to look at a few Volkswagens that we saw online. We were in on 9/3/15. We were looking to purchase because we were weary of leases and their restrictions.
We were assisted by two sales people. They were father and son. The son mentioned that the father was the sales manager at the time. He mentioned that him and his dad were from Morocco and had a home there. As we got to talking more with the son who was helping us, he mentioned leasing.
We told him that we felt that being locked into a 3 year lease with mileage restrictions and having the lack of ability to switch cars was not good for us because many things can happen in 3 years as we are at the age where we may start a family.
The son assured us that this was no longer the issues with leases, at least at their dealership because he stated, "If during your lease you would like to upgrade the vehicle and purchase or lease a new VW through us, we are not concerned about ending leases early or being over on miles."

My wife and I talked with him at length about this because we wanted to be sure that we understood. He made it crystal clear that this was part of how the dealership operates. We NEVER would have leased without this information being directly expressed to us multiple times while we were there for over 3 hours.
We ended up leasing a 2016 Jetta Sport. The lease is up at the end of 9/2018 I believe, so there is about 9 months left on the term.
In late 07/2017 we stopped in the dealership because VW had released a new large SUV called the Atlas. My wife and I are very much interested in purchasing this larger upgraded SUV. We need the space.
We were met by a salesperson named Macree Calvin. When we mentioned to him about our current lease he stated he was unaware of those lease terms that we were told by the previous sales staff back in 2015. He told us to contact VW credit.
We did contact them and were told that we would need

Upon review of the deal and the complaint, I apologize for the misinformation that was given to you. You can definitely upgrade your lease, but the remaining lease payments would be due or can get rolled into your new lease. According to your Motor Vehicle Lease Agreement signed on 9/3/2015, there is information on the back of the lease that explains the Early Termination Liability that also explains mileage charges.

Please find attached a copy of the front and back of your Motor Vehicle Lease Agreement.

Again, I truly apologize for this inconvenience and misinformation. If you ever need to reach any of our staff, please feel free to call and we would be happy to help you.

An apology is not sufficient here. 2 salesmen, who represent EVS when they are clocked in on the job directly expressed verbally wrong information that was a determining factor in us deciding to lease when we originally were going to buy. That means we entered into this lease contract under false pretenses.

This information was not just a minor error, they went into depth about these options as a way to get me and my wife to sign a lease. That means intent was there to deceive.

I have also filed a complaint with the FCC because of deceptive practices. You are not disputing that your staff said that and even said in an email that they overpromised. Providing me a copy of a lease that I already have does not cover you. Contract or not, I was promised this option and I am not letting this go.

I am going to wait and see what the FCC says. If they cannot assist me, then my next step is getting my attorney involved and contacting the news to explain how your staff's deceptive practices are not being remedied by you. I am not letting this go.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

The current staff at EVSVW, went above and beyond to resolve a tough situation and completely turn it around leaving me extremely impressed by their professionalism. The General Manager, Matt ***, was extremely professional from start to finish. He listened to me when I was extremely upset and made it very clear to me that he was going to see to it that this situation was resolved. He 100% made good on his word! The Sales Manager, Ted ***, was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process as well. He genuinely wanted to ensure that we were taken care of. The Sales Consultant that helped us, Tony ***, was by far the nicest and real person you could work with. He gets how to handle people and he makes things feel effortless.Dan from Finance made the paperwork process a breeze to deal with. It was very timely and professional.I would like to thank the staff for everything that they did to turn things around. They did not have any part in causing the issue that I faced, yet they did everything they could to make things right. I will refer them to anyone that I know who is in the market and definitely will come back in the future.
