Cake for a party was aweful. Spoke with two mangers and they wouldn't do anything about it.My daughter's birthday party was sunday October 2nd at 2:00 pm I ordered a cake Saturday October 1st the women that I spoke with said she only had about 30 min. To do the cake in and she would try her best to make it look ok.she asked what I wanted the cake to say and I told her "Happy 2nd birthday [redacted]" My mother picks up the cake sunday at 2:36 pm on October 2nd(she was running late for party). She brings the cake in and it looked terrible,it was hard,there was black around the edges where she did not cover it up with icing and the cake said "Happy birthday and on the second line it said 2nd [redacted]". I called the store Manger Monday morning to see what he could do he asked me how much of the cake I had left I told him only the top half,because I didn't have a choice but to serve the cake at the party, he said that's fine I will take it bring it in. So I take it on my lunch brake and he was gone when I got there to his lunch brake. So I called Tuesday and Wednesday he was gone both days I called I called him Thursday November 6th and told him I had been trying to contact him told him who I was and that we had spoke about the cake I told him I was bringing it up there for him to make sure he was going to be there. I take it up there show him the picture of the cake and he said well it looks like it's over half way gone I told him I didn't have a choice but to serve it and told you over the phone I only had top part of the cake left you told me that was fine you would take it. He then tells me he isn't going to give me my money back and I said ok can you give me a voucher for another cake he said no smiled and walked away. I just want my money back for the aweful cake. Price of the cake tax and all was $21.39. 1/4 sheet with kit. He was nice and acted like he was going to do something about it over the phone. But when I got there he was a totally different person.Desired SettlementI just want a refund on the cake which is $21.39
