Dr S*** is very smart! But when you get too complicated she dismisses you from her practice! I was having a rough time and in her words "i don't want the liability" if you hurt yourself, and it "would be better if we didn't work together"I was shocked, here I was asking for help and she was turning me away because she didn't want the liability ! You're a psychiatrist this is your job! I left bawling my eyes outBeing a nurse myself I could never imagine treating a patient the way she treated meNot to mention her secretary Ronnie is awful! She never smiles, is always rude to make appointmentsSave your time and go somewhere else! From other reviews I read after the fact, this isn't the first time she has dismissed patients because she doesn't want to deal with something she can't cover in minutes

I have never felt more disrespected or talked down to my whole life. I felt like it was the blind leading the blind. She does not listen, is distracted and it is very confusing to talk to her. I have wasted almost 2 years out of fear of switching doctors. But I have had it. She and her receptionist both are extremely difficult people to interact with. I have gotten worse on her bizarre cocktails of medication that other doctors shake their head at and tell me I should not be on. Avoid this office at all costs. For someone who is suicidal this treatment may push themover the edge. She does not listen and discourages rather than encourages. I have gotten more information from web md. Terrible experiences. More than I can possibly list but briefly: rushes thru appt, never returns phone call, rude, cold, defensive of medication and not open minded, believes side effects are all in your head and calls you a liar. She is completely insane. I am currently looking for ANY other doctor. This has been one of the most challenging years of my life and I believe it is in a large part due to the medication she has prescribed.
