August, 17th To Whom It May Concern Below you will find Mr [redacted] 's visits to the dealership and his concerns at each visit 8/8/2014, 27,miles, The vehicle came in with a customer concern of “ There is a rattling type noise coming from the passenger side of the vehicle when going over bumps”The technician found a loose joint and torn bushing on the right side radius link, and a torn bushing on the left side radius linkBoth links were authorized by [redacted] and replacedCost to [redacted] of $ 8/28/2014, 27,miles, The vehicle came back in with a customer concern of “There is a clunking noise heard when going over bumps”The technicians inspection found slight looseness in the upper ball jointsThe customer was advised and took the vehicleNo charges to the customer 9/8/2014, miles, The vehicle was towed in due to the customer stating he felt unsafe driving it, same clunking concern as last visitThe technicians inspection found the same thing as the last visit, with the addition of some slight play in the steering column coupler [redacted] came in to the dealership to pick up the vehicle and drove it awayNo mention of feeling unsafe after he was told that the issues he has now is unrelated to the repair he had previously This vehicle had multiple problems from the start, but the technician addressed [redacted] ***s original concern on the original visitThe original concern at Mr [redacted] 's visit “rattle on the right side of the vehicle” was corrected on the first visit as there was no further mention of that concern on the last two visits [redacted] P ###-###-#### F ###-###-#### [redacted]

I spoke with Kimberly. She explained her situation and how she had not had a chance to drive the car at highway speeds before buying it. She said the first time they took the car on the expressway it made a vibration. She scheduled a service appointment and had the problem
diagnosed. At this time she was told that she would need to replace the tires to make the vibration go away. She purchased the vehicle AS IS so there wasn't an expressed or implied warranty on it at the time of purchase. This was explained to her and she left without pursuing her chain of command during her visit. I became aware of the issue through the review.I let her know that because of the inconvenience and the possibility of the tires being bad at the time of delivery, I would replace the tires for her. She agreed and was satisfied. She will contact Steve or Rob in service to schedule a time to have them replaced when it is convenient for her. She did express that everyone was friendly but she wasn't happy that she had tires which were possibly bad.Imran *** - General Manager

I looked into their concerns and found all of them to be addressedThe only
outstanding concern was with the payoff of their traded vehicleWe talked
with
their lender and worked through the concernWe were made aware when we
contacted the lender that the payoff given by the lender did not include the
daily interestThe lender was very accommodating in working with us to resolve
the outstanding debtIt was not the dealerships intent or the lenders intent
for the consumer to have this issueOnce we were informed there was a short
payment by Mrand Mrs*** we reached out and cleared up the concernWe

Ewald Chrysler Jeep Dodge is very sorry for the inconvenience of the titling errorBelow you will see the state of events
-Sent registration into the state 5/1/15, we were waiting for title from Ally since it was a previous lease
-Customer wanted titled with IL address but they had
previous WI address so we had to send it in to the state in place of using our online service CVR
6/24- Ryan our business manager asked me Michele our title clerk to call the DMV about this, I was told to see if the check had been cashed and to call back
6/25- Called back, there were registrations sent in the same envelope on 5/1, all the checks were cashed except for the one in questionThe lady from the DMV- Agent Partnership Unit emailed all registration processors so keep an eye out for this applicationShe took my call back numberWe never received a call back
6/26- Called back, we were told that the title was probably siting on someone’s desk and we just had to wait for them to process it
7/the state of WI titled the vehicle
We hope that all the concerns where satisfied

Now ewald is saying they emailed the check to U.S Bank on November 13th but they couldn't call and tell us that until Noevember 30thI also called US bank and they said they did not receive this check and asked for a check number which I do not haveThis company tells lies after lies, I will not be dealing or shopping there anymore and there is still no coupon book after monthsI will not be giving those coupons to Ewald, I will be throwing them away

The customer dropped off her vehicle with our service department after communicating via text with the service director. She was provided a complimentary loaner vehicle for the duration of her vehicle's stay. During the attempted repairs, our technicians and service advisor reviewed not
only the vehicle's activity, but the service records for the vehicle during and before her time of ownership. Going deeper into the vehicle's history, it appeared that a repair attempt had been made for a similar or related concern that was thought at the time to be successful. The vehicle was traded in some time after that and had gone through a reconditioning process and inspection where the vehicle was given a clean bill of health by the technician. Reviewing the used car safety inspection, no mention of the current described symptoms was made or mentioned. The service advisor reviewed the information with the service director, whose directed course of action was to inform the customer of our findings and provide options to resolve the matter. The service director has made clear to the advisors and to the customer that honesty and transparency, in the interest of arming our customer to make the most informed and beneficial decision, is our paramount policy. The customer subsequently spoke to the general manager and the service director. The service director reiterated the dealership's commitment to resolving the situation to the customer's benefit, safety and satisfaction. The service director acknowledged to the customer the abnormality of the situation as well the unfortunate circumstances leading to the continued inability to resolve the problem with the vehicle, and as such requiring that the dealership go the extra mile to ensure the customer's safety and satisfaction. The proposal has been floated that the dealership offer the maximum trade value for the present vehicle, assuming no needed repairs or damage. Additionally, the dealership will locate and offer up a comparable vehicle with factory backed certification. The customer had expressed some understandable hesitancy on the quality of the trade due to her experience to date with her present car. To that end, in the interest of restoring faith and trust in the dealership and the brand, the proposed trade would be on factory backed and certified vehicle that passes the manufacturer's point inspection process. If need be, the dealership is willing to explore obtaining said trade from the Oconomowoc store if our own inventory cannot satisfy the trade. Finally, the service director has offered to include a year's worth of free and complimentary maintenance for the customer on her replacement vehicle.At this time, the customer remains in the courtesy car while the service and sales department conjointly work on putting together a final deal to provide an equitable, honest and beneficial trade for the customer on a safe and reliable vehicle. The service director plans to contact the customer friday with an update on this process

We are working with the customer with the hopes of finding a resolution satisfactory for all involved.
