Flats to Let Property Management has agreed to credit the $

Dear Ms***.Ms [redacted] ' complaint and representations are inaccurate and misleading at bestAfter viewing the property on several occasion, and having it inspected with family/friends, Ms [redacted] happily executed a lease, paid a deposit, paid rent, accepted keys and took possession of the home.It was days later she disclosed she qualified for Sec Housing and did not want the property.The young lady broke her lease contract and is owed nothingShe has a balance owed to the property owner of $2,for her lease obligation.Thank you for bringing this to our attention[redacted] , RealtorFlats to LetProperty ManagementNorth StreetBeaumont, Texas

Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint and for the service you provide this community.Flats to Let is a professional management company with a sterling year history in this areaConflicts are inherent to the business and we always refer to written lease agreements and The Texas Property Code in our decision making.Our former tenant is certainly entitled to an opinion but he is not entitled to his own set of facts !The deductions taken from his security deposit were valid, reasonable and supported by the photos attachedThe property was left a mess and filthy with dog hairFurniture was left behind.Pest control (fleas) was needed before we could even start cleaningThe doors were repainted due to damage caused by the animalThere was a nominal labor charge for the replacement of light bulbs, air filters , smoke detector batteries and removal of furniture The Texas Property Code and his lease also require that we be provided with a (1)forwarding address to send detailed security deposit information and (2) given access to the property to show prospective tenantsThe tenant provide neither when requestedThank you again for your time and efforts[redacted] Flats to Let, Property managementNorthBeaumont Texas 835-833-faxwww.flatstolet.us [email protected]

Ok lets address the photosFirst is a missing switch cover plate, which was missing at the time of move inI bought a decorative switch cover that I took with me but I did leave behind a new plain white cover in the bath roomSecond is the desk, which was left behind by previous tenantI got use out of it but did not wish to take position of itThird the fridge, ok I forgot to grab our milkthe other items our baking soda boxes one in the top and one at the bottomThese were left so to keep fridge smelling freshAlso, pictured there are ice trays which where there when we moved in and I see a small bag of iceI'm sosorryFourth the rug, which we did leave behindFifth dishwasher, yeah its old and rusty just like we found it and had to use it in that conditionSixth under kitchen sink, I apologize we left you some cleaning suppliesSeventh and last the oven, I see a very clean oven in this picture what is the problem there? Now that's done, ask him to proved you with a signed copy of my move in sheet where I stated the conditions and repairs needed upon my move inI was not proved a copy nor did I for see this issue to think to ask for oneNow as for the doors being painted, they needed to be painted before I moved in but if my dog in fact caused them to need painting where are those pictures? And at a cost of $200, I don't believe so [redacted] would never sign off on paying that amount just to have doors paintedI know I've done work for himAlso, you state the house was a mess and dog hair everywhereWhere are those pictures? As far as the pest control for flees, even tho Flats to Let never provided us with pest control prior to our move in nor did they during our one year stay I'll give them at oneLast A/C filter, light bulbs, and smoke alarm batteries where all intact and in working order when we leftEven if they were not, but they wereThis would fall under wearSowith all this being said I'll agree we owe for extermination of fees and cleaning fee because you had to throw out our milk we forgotAt the cost of $which you stated was the cost to do soTake our $deposit minus the $should leave us with a $return OHI forgot to mention, I contacted Texas Association of Realtors about Mr [redacted] I spoke with [redacted] (***)***- [redacted] she stated Mr [redacted] is not a member and is not authorized to use their documentation nor their letter headSounds like a stand up honest fellow, right?
