Could not start at my exam time
I verified my system ahead of my exam and showed up early. I waited indefinitely for a proctor. I worked with tech support over chat for over 55 minutes and could not get answers to simple questions such as if a proctor had been assigned. I was told to wait a few minutes every 10 minutes for over 55 minutes. The support could never provide any information as to whether they saw my connection or a proctor was available. Black hold of information.

Worst website
There’s always an issue, more times than not with this website. Either audio isn’t working, proctor doesn’t know how to use the website, examity doesn’t have correct passwords to get into exams, or proctors take so long to connect. Every time I have an issue and have to reschedule, I am charged way too much money. College students don’t have the money to be charged 26 dollars to reschedule a test. Especially when the issues causing this reschedule are ON EXAMITY’S END. I wish schools would stop requiring this website for exams, as it is extremely difficult to use and never works.

The worst platform ever
Not able to "connect to proctor". Lost my money and my exam attempt. Contacted live chat support. SEVEN people TRIED to solve it and couldn't! Then, get ready...THEY ALL LEFT! They all hung up on me as I was patiently sitting and waiting. I started new chats 3 more times and no ine could help me. HORRIBLE platform. You should be ashamed. Also people who are there to help you over the phone should be able to speak CLEARLY! I have a bit of an accent and I should never work the phones. This was an extreme. I had to ask the person to repeat what they were saying multiple times. The other thing is that they should have a good phone connection. Two times they answered as if they were floating in outer space. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! This platform should not be used by any serious institution!

Horrible Proctor
I just took my second test with Examity. My proctor kept telling me there was a blinking light in my office when there was not. Then she kept telling me there was a blinking blue light and to unplug it. What she was talking about was the blue light on my modem, which was not blinking but was blue. She asked me to unplug it. I told her if I did that I would lose her because that was my modem to my computer. STUPID. Then I had to show her my floor. Like I am going to put something on my floor to cheat by when she has to be able to see my face the whole time. Hate this proctoring set up. Not good. I could not understand anything she said, and by the time we got through with all of those shenanegans, I literally wanted to just cancel and reschedule my test.
I was so frazzled after all that that I unfortunately could not think and only passed my test by 1 point. My first guy was great. But this second one, horrible.

SCAM
NO STARS NOT EVEN ONE, SO UNWORTHY. They are so eager to take your money, but if you have any issues, they do not take accountability, they tell you it's your fault. No help from any of their representatives. Their website for HESIs will accept your payment for the proctoring but kick you out and give you an "Error, failure to process" when trying to schedule an exam and it takes two weeks to get a refund. I had an exam scheduled and they entered the wrong access code and I ended up taking a DIFFERENT exam and had mix ups for two months despite having a deadline with my college on taking the exam. They will keep you on the phone for a whole hour and keep giving you the run around. Lies lies lies! Gave up and I paid AGAIN only to have them schedule the wrong time AFTER confirming date and time OH MY GOODNESS, they are the most infuriating! Currently waiting for 1 hour and 23 minutes to have my exam rescheduled, how hard is it for them to fix an issue they originally caused? They will have you take the wrong exam, tell you that you were a no show, and take your money but won't help you with anything at all. SCAMMERS are what they are, they're not even based in the US, no integrity or customer service. Good thing the Better Business Bureau exists, filing a complaint with them right now.

It is not only about money. It is people's time too. People prepare for the exam. They study, they set everything aside at certain time. No one can be around etc. and then your platform doesn't work. Awful!

I am not sure if the writer is aware, but instructors and universities determine whether cheating took place, not Examity.  Of course, offering the university full access to video and audio, as we did in this instance, enables the school to protect its reputation and maintain academic...
