I had to go with this company last minute (booked the night previously!) after my previous moving company decided to switch my moving date without notifying me. I was very hesitant at first because as I was canceling with them, the previous moving company kept insisting that Excalibur was a broker, that they would raise my rates when they got to my house, etc. etc. However I decided to take a chance because I absolutely needed to move the next day, and I'm glad I did so! The two movers were very efficient, and very friendly and helpful. Nothing was damaged in the move, and everything was reassembled excellently. The rates were excellent and kept with the estimate. The movers were extremely professional as well! We wanted to buy them lunch but they kept insisting that they wouldn't eat until they were done moving and putting together the furniture because they didn't want us to pay for their break. I would definitely recommend this company to others!!!
Excalibur Movers moved my 3 bedrooms townhouse on December 18,2016. I submitted my info online in one of the website were they provide this info to multiple moving companies. Excalibur were the first to call me and the guy explain everything about the pricing and the way they work, he also gave me a lot of tips about packing etc... He offered me an in-home estimate. He was the only one to offer an in-home estimate. I like this company professionalism over the phone and in person so I decided to go with Excalibur. On move day, 4 men crew arrive on time and start wrapping and loading my furniture and boxes. They were so efficient and synchronized between themselves. They even protected my floors with their carpets on both houses. It took the movers an hour less then the estimate I have received, that means I paid less then the estimate. I will use them again (If I move again) and recommend them to everyone who need good and professional movers
Excalibur moved my home from Rockville, MD to Bethesda, MD. They packed all items into boxes and wrapped all furniture before loading to the truck. The crew worked non stop for 11 hours (stopped only for a lunch brake). They did a fantastic job: protecting my belongings, covered my floors and stand behind the flat price that the estimator provide me in the initial estimate. I was very pleased with this company and their services .
Excalibur totally changed my moving mind set. I never thought I'd be one to use a moving company partly because I'm frugal. Plus with family and friends around, why not ask them to help you move? But let's be honest. It can get a little awkward when a family member or friend just isn't as careful with your things as you would like them to be. Or sometimes they don't show up or maybe they come late. And then you have to reciprocate when it's time for them to move. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping out and I would, but I can't say I'd be the first to volunteer the next time someone needs help moving. It's hard work! And as you get older, it's even harder! Ok I'm not that old, but I'm no spring chicken either. Point is, there are so many things to think/stress about, but Excalibur really helped to relieve most of that moving stress for me. They put me at ease with being careful with my things. They were fast, efficient, and reliable. I don't think that even with help from family and friends we could've moved all of our stuff in the time we wanted to AND not be completely wiped out! I'm all about quality and service especially when it comes to money out of my pocket and let's just say my moving experience with Excalibur was money well spent. I was impressed. I also learned a few things about moving too! I hardly write reviews and when I have, most were not good ones. Somethings are worth the money you spend, and Excalibur is definitely in that category. Exceptional service, outstanding job, and highly recommended! Thank you Excalibur!
