I am rejecting this response because:To date, I have received nearly calls in response to my request for information Information is all I was looking forI am currently insured and was just wondering what was available should I retire before I can take MedicareSince my complaint, more area codes respondedMy complaint is that they are from repetitive numbers who will not take no for an answer when I explain my situation and call back within minutes of hanging upI still feel this is harassment and it's not o.k I feel like the stated web business should be aware of the practices of insurance brokers who use their serviceBecause they are the ones who own the website, I feel that makes them partly responsible for the problem.I admit to my part in trusting a website I knew nothing aboutHowever, since they had a Revdex.com logo on their site, I felt it was safeI will not make that mistake againI will never use this resource againI will never consider buying insurance from a caller with such irresponsible practicesI wanted nothing from this complaint but for the calls to stop Since I have not received one in the last five days, I am satisfied the problem has been resolved [redacted] ***

[redacted] stated “If you don't pick up a phone call they will harass you and call from many different numbers leaving you voicemails about finding the "perfect health insurance plan"”. We do not call any consumer directly, we simply assist in referring them to the best matched agency to help the consumer compare quotes, and we have a very clear written authorization on our website quote submission page stating this is what we are doing. Once we transfer the consumer data to the 3rd party company, we no longer own that data or the liability of calling within permitted hours, etc. If [redacted] is irritated with numerous calls, it might have been an agency that she was referred to, or she may have also submitted her information on other websites and they are the ones causing the issue. (See Attached Document) First,
let me explain our business model. We operate a variety of...

insurance-related
websites. We advertise to consumers shopping for insurance quotes (Health
Insurance, Medicare Insurance, etc.). We help connect consumers shopping for
insurance get connected with an insurance agency who can help the consumer
compare their various insurance options and purchase a policy. We are NOT an
insurance agency ourselves and do NOT call consumers. A consumer simply submits
their contact information on our website and we transfer their information to
an insurance agency, and we get paid a fee for the web-based referral.Second,
we have very clear pre-authorized written legal consent from the consumer to
transfer their information to a list of potential companies who may be
contacting them. However, after reading [redacted]'s statement of the problem, it is
clear that we are not the ones causing her problems. [redacted] stated "Since then I have
received 40 calls from this inquiry from the same 480 & 520 numbers". We do not call the consumer directly nor own
any phone numbers with a 480 or 520 area code. This would likely have been from
an insurance agency that we referred the client to. However, once we transfer
the consumer data to the 3rd party company, we no longer own that
data or the liability of calling within permitted hours, etc. That will all
fall on the 3rd party company who is likely an insurance agency
trying to assist. We are not the ones calling [redacted].
We will review our database
and request that the company who received the consumer data opt-out [redacted] from
their marketing, however again this is not us contacting her.
Lastly, the next page
contains a verification as well as screenshot showing that [redacted] submitted her
information legally giving consent to be contacted by us a 3rd party
company.

Craig

I am rejecting this response because:To date, I have received nearly 100 calls in response to my request for information Information is all I was looking for. I am currently insured and was just wondering what was available should I retire before I can take Medicare. Since my complaint, more area codes responded. My complaint is that they are from repetitive numbers who will not take no for an answer when I explain my situation and call back within minutes of hanging up. I still feel this is harassment and it's not o.k.  I feel like the stated web business should be aware of the practices of insurance brokers who use their service. Because they are the ones who own the website, I feel that makes them partly responsible for the problem.I admit to my part in trusting a website I knew nothing about. However, since they had a Revdex.com logo on their site, I felt it was safe. I will not make that mistake again. I will never use this resource again. I will never consider buying insurance from a caller with such irresponsible practices. I wanted nothing from this complaint but for the calls to stop.  Since I have not received one in the last five days, I am satisfied the problem has been resolved. [redacted]
