However, I had tried to reach you every way possible but you ignored all in the past. What was your excuse then? Work continues even if someone is gravely ill especially if it is only a response that is needed. I am out of money and heat for my home. No one gave a darn when I tried to resolve this. This could have all been taken care of if you had the decency to work with me before your relative became gravely ill. [redacted]

days to reply to the complaint filed against my husband My
father-in-law has been gravely ill for the past 1/weeks We both and
the family wanted to spend as much time with him as possible
Unfortunately he passed this morning
We definitely want to reply to the complaint filed against us If we get

First let me thank you for the extra time requested for the death of my father It is very much appreciated
We were asked to deliver seasoned firewood that would fit in a small firebox appr14" long I told the customer that our firewood it typically 18" to 20" long, but that I would hand pick the smallest pieces which we did The customer said NOTHING about the diameter of the wood just the length This wood is the same wood that we delivered to all our other customers We have delivered over cords of wood this season We have had other complaint - that it burned too fast To resolve the
problem of the wood burning too fast - we gave the customer an extra 1/cord of wood which made them happy and solved the problem
When *** called for firewood, she stated that we could back the truck into the side yard and unload it We could not drive the truck into the yard so we had to wheel barrow back and forth which took extra time We even put some in her house for her She even told us at that time, that the wood was a nice sizeWhen she called the first time to say that the wood was not burning, I told her that I could locate some wood that was much smaller, so I did I brought wheelbarrows of wood out to her and stack it for no charge and must have only seen me unload instead of the loadsI went to her house to try and help her, but I don't know what else I am suppose to do Yes, she called, but I was unable to answer due to my father's illness
We deliver firewood to people that have open hearth fireplaces and have no problem getting a fire started with our wood If there was a problem with our firewood, I think at least one of those customers would have called us with a complaint No one has called with this problem
In the years of being in business, this is the first time a complaint has been filed against us The person who recommended us for this job, has told us that everyone else is happy with our firewood except this personOur wood is stored outside It is seasoned Seasoned does not mean that the winter weather does not effect it
I feel no other action is warranted We delivered what we said we would deliver

I am rejecting this response because:
First of all, this guy is a downright liar! We never discussed the size of the wood prior to delivery. I assumed my regular firewood delivery man asked [redacted] if he had any 18" firewood leftover because a customer of his is in need. I did not see the sizes of the pieces until the last of the cord was brought into my home, 4 feet from where he was stacking my wood. Now he talks about how he backed up his truck and stacked the wood here and there. That's why he charged me $35 or thereabouts stacking fee, so don't think you did me any favors. Your price was $45 more than what the going rate for firewood with stacking is!
At this point, I never told you the wood was too large to fit. It wasn't until I called you several times that the wood would not burn, maybe the pieces were a little too large and may need some smaller pieces to help start it. That's when you brought me some normal size pieces, not many at all, like you claim, that anyone who sells firewood sells. Then I asked you to come in and look at the size of my stove so that you would realize that there is not much room in there to put more than one piece of the original ones you sold me. You knew at that point that the wood you delivered was the wrong size. But we are not having this dispute over how much wood you delivered, how you stacked it, or how big the pieces were. My argument is that this garbage that you call 'seasoned' firewood DOES NOT BURN! It is still sitting in the same place you left it. With all the cold weather we have been having, you would have thought, since you believe your firewood is the best, that I would have gone through most of it by now. Well I haven't. Maybe you can pay my [redacted] bill this month since I typically do not use that to heat my home.
It is so ironic that every firewood guy I called, each were out of seasoned wood because of how cold this winter has been but you were the only one who had some. Like I mentioned in a previous complaint, you knew I was only using you because my regular guys were out of wood and my one guy called around. He had no luck for about 2 weeks until he found you. You knew this would be the only time I would use you this year before I'd return to my regular guys next season. We are in a recession and you figured I'll make extra money selling wood by passing it off as seasoned. The wood sitting in my basement is as light as a feather but the darn thing will not catch fire no matter how many fire starters or fat wood I use.
There is a new tv show on called, [redacted]. When I watch it, I think of you. No matter how many calls I made to you, a good businessman will help solve the solution and make the client satisfied. You avoided me like the plague after the time I brought you into my home and showed you how difficult it was to start a fire with your wood. Satisfaction, NOT GUARANTEED should be on your business card and website, which reminds me that I left you a message on there too that went unanswered. Just admit, you took advantage and sold me wood that I can't use until next winter. I want a full refund and nothing less. You can haul off your so called wonderful wood and don't ever look back.
Please don't insult my intelligence! You are the type of person that gives the good guys a bad name.
