In January of 2016, Mr*** called to have one of our technicians come to hishouse to look at a whole house filter that had frozeIt was beyond repair, so it was replaced;installed according to
manufacturers specifications.In May we received a call from Mr***, stating that he could not loosenthe housing on said whole house filter to replace the filterWe were experiencing a very busytime (which he was told) and could not get to his house for to weeks due to our schedule .He wanted to be put on the schedule for the soonest time we could get there for a service call.One of our technicians was sent out in June of to see if there was a problemThere was noleaking or malfunction to the unitIt was working properlyAs with anything that is used on aregular basis where there is water movement, there can be some tightening of the filter housing.This was indeed the case with Mr***'s filter housingAfter the initial inspection, ourtechnician was able to loosen the housing for Mr*** due to experience in this field of work.Because there was not an installation error or malfunction, Mr*** was charged a minimumservice call charge as is industry standard.I'm confused as to why we are being told there was a problem created by uswhen there wasn't anything wrong with the system and it's ability to function for monthsbefore Mr*** called, and was still working properly when our technician was there.I don't feel like this should be a courtesy call, as there was nothing wrong withthe unit or the installationWe are a business with trained professionals in our field of work andexpect to be paid for services rendered.I am enclosing for reference the letters that were mailed to Mr*** by ourcompany for record of what and when we had contact with him

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The technician tightened the filter housing on the new unit to a measure beyond my ability and strength to remove. I have been changing this filter for 8 years, and have never had a problem removing the unit until the technician installed the new one. I only ask Excel to please come to my home and loosen the unit which they had installed, so I could replace the filter. Sincerely,[redacted]
