I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedDear sirs:I do appreciate getting this response from *** with reference to my complaintIt appears that I do in fact owe Steve B*** an apology to my complaint which is because he has received mis-information from his father who is the person that I in fact did purchase the shirt from....by mis-information I mean that in fact MrTerry B*** did tell me that his son Steve would check the availability of this shirt in question, however he at no time told me about the payment options available as I had already paid him in CASH So it seems like MrTerry B***'s memory is lacking and that is why after I had paid him I asked for a receipt which he gave me....The reason that the receipt marked "PD in cash" was marked over was because every time I took a picture of it to e mail to Steve to prove that I had paid for the shirt , it came out weak in color and was a second copy, and not 100% clear, so I marked it over with a black pencil to make it more clear. There are a couple of things that should be noted here....first....MrB*** was starting to close up for the day and was actually packing up shirts .....and so if I was not there in person and bought a shirt, how would I know that Steve was asleep in his pickup truck after a long trip and that his father Terry asked me to watch the place while he went to the truck to check with Steve to see if there were any more ss available in my size "large", and I watched him go to the truck and he came right back because he did not want to wake his son who was in fact asleep....and secondly how would I obtain this receipt that Terry wrote for me upon my request, to show I actually did pay for this shirt....I am not in the habit of buying an item and paying for it and not getting a receipt....and so I wanted a receipt to prove I had paid for this item...especially since the shirt was to be sent to me at my address in Florida. And the most common sense part about this all is that I am years old and so why would I go thru all this trouble just to try and rip off a measley $shirt from someone....there is no way I need to expend this kind of energy for a $shirt unless it actually had been paid for and should have been sent to me in the first place.....I am sorry that Steve B*** still appears to disbelieve me when I tell him I did in fact pay for this shirt in CASH and have a legitimate receipt to show I didI assure you all that if MrSteve B*** got to know me he would soon find out I am an honest upfront person and not in the habit of trying to rip off people for a mere $30, and so in closing I too would like to end this misunderstanding and therefore will accept his offer of a $credit for Carlisle, Pa at the Corvette show their in August. If it is possible, I ask that the credit be e mailed to me and then I can print it off and bring it to Carlisle.I am truly sorry for all this confusion and it would be my hope that this August in Carlisle all concerned might raise a pint and put this all to rest !I will look forward to receiving this Credit via e mail and if that is not possible then it could be mailed to me *** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Dear sirs:I do appreciate getting this response from [redacted]  with reference to my complaint.. It appears that I do in fact owe Steve B[redacted] an apology to my complaint which is because he has received mis-information from his father who is the person that I in fact did purchase the shirt from....by mis-information I mean that in fact Mr. Terry B[redacted] did tell me that his son Steve would check the availability of this shirt in question, however he at no time told me about the payment options available as I had already paid him in CASH . So it seems like Mr. Terry B[redacted]'s memory is lacking and that is why after I had paid him I asked for a receipt which he gave me....The reason that the receipt marked "PD in cash" was marked over was because every time I took a picture of it to e mail to Steve to prove that I had paid for the shirt , it came out weak in color and was a second copy, and not 100% clear, so I marked it over with a black pencil to make it more clear. There are a couple of things that should be noted here....first....Mr. B[redacted] was starting to close up for the day and was actually packing up shirts .....and so if I was not there in person and bought a shirt, how would I know that Steve was asleep in his pickup truck after a long trip and that his father Terry asked me to watch the place while he went to the truck to check with Steve to see if there were any more ss available in my size "large", and I watched  him go to the truck and he came right back because he did not want to wake his son who was in fact asleep....and secondly how would I obtain this receipt that Terry wrote for me upon my request, to show I actually did pay for this shirt....I am not in the habit of buying an item and paying for it and not getting a receipt....and so I wanted a receipt to prove I had paid for this item...especially since the shirt was to be sent to me at my address in Florida. And the most common sense part about this all is that I am 68 years old and so why would I go thru all this trouble just to try and rip off a measley $30 shirt from someone....there is no way I need to expend this kind of energy for a $30 shirt unless it actually had been paid for and should have been sent to me in the first place.....I am sorry that Steve B[redacted] still appears to disbelieve me when I tell him I did in fact pay for this shirt in CASH and have a legitimate receipt to show I did. I assure you all that if Mr. Steve B[redacted] got to know me he would soon find out I am an honest upfront person and not in the habit of trying to rip off people for a mere $30, and so in closing I too would like to end this misunderstanding and therefore will accept his offer of a $30 credit for Carlisle, Pa at the Corvette show their in August. If it is possible, I ask that the credit be e mailed to me and then I can print it off and bring it to Carlisle.I am truly sorry for all this confusion and it would be my hope that this August in Carlisle all concerned might raise a pint and put this all to rest !I will look forward to receiving this Credit via e mail and if that is not possible then it could be mailed to me [redacted]

SUMMARY RESPONSE: Mr. [redacted] received a note on an old Credit Card Receipt Form with his name and shipping address and a description of the garment in question. The Garment was not in stock and was an item that we are not currently restocking. The form summarized what he was...

interested in. This form was used because we no longer use these manual forms – we make all of our credit card transactions electronically. Mr. [redacted] was verbally told that I (Steve B[redacted] would contact him after the show to discuss availability and payment options by my representative (Terry B[redacted]. This occurred on January 23rd, 2016. Shown Below is the copy of the ORIGINAL form that Mr. [redacted] received from us. This picture was taken today on April 4th.  I received this original copy on January 23rd in the evening. Please notice that there is no marking that the garment in question was paid for, either by Cash or by Credit Card. It only has the name of the garment, size and Mr. [redacted]’s address.    Terry B[redacted] advised me that I was to contact to Mr. [redacted] to advise him if we had these garments available, and if so, then to make arrangements for payment. I  did not contact Mr. [redacted] first. He contacted us and asked where his shirt was. I replied that he hadn’t paid for it and we weren’t stocking the item. Mr. [redacted] asserted that had paid for it. When I asked him for a copy of his receipt showing that it was paid for, he sent me back this picture via email:  As can be seen, he had his copy of the receipt with the blue markings from the second page form.At the top of the form, it appears that PD IN CASH was overwritten in BLACK. Please recall, that Terry D B[redacted] told me on January 23rd that I needed to contact Mr. [redacted] about availability and to make arrangements for payment.  The above picture, was received on February 6th via Email. I have no reason to believe that Mr. [redacted] paid for this shirt on January 23rd for the following reasons: I was advised by Mr. Terry B[redacted] to contact Mr. [redacted] to arrange payment – if the garment was even available. The paperwork that I received from Terry B[redacted] does not reference that the garment was paid for.[redacted] provided me with his copy of the paperwork, with a handwritten PD in CASH in Black ink above the Blue carbonless receipt. The PD in CASH handwriting does not match in anyway Mr. B[redacted]’s handwriting. There is a lot of examples his handwriting on the photocopies to look at. SUGGESTED ACTION: Our company has been in business for 26 years, and I would like to settle this issue. The problem that I (Steve B[redacted] have hinges on my strong belief that Mr. [redacted] has not paid for this garment in question. Secondarily, we don’t have any plans to stock this item. In this day and age of social media, businesses are sometimes placed in difficult situations in dealing with customers who might want to wield the power of bad reviews. In Mr. [redacted]’s request for a desired settlement, he states that he would be willing take another color shirt, if the orange is not available. Mr. [redacted] has stated that we will  cross paths at a show in Carlisle Pennsylvania in August. We would like to offer Mr. [redacted] two choices: $30 Merchandise Credit at our booth in August in Carlisle, PA, orPay $12 for Shipping for an alternate shirt for immediate shipping. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned,   Steve B[redacted], PresidentExcel Screen Printing USA Inc.
