I bought a used Sierra with 165K miles from them It was previously a commercial vehicle so it was a little beat up, but the salesman assured me that it was thoroughly inspected and there were no known issues On the test drive the truck ran strong and drove smooth, so I made a cash offer The transaction went as expected for a dealership, I had to go through the usual gambit of salsman/manager and then financer I paid and left Here's where it went bad, not miles from the dealership the truck suddenly shut off on the highway and I almost got into an accident as I tried to coast the powerless truck across lanes of heavy traffic I called the dealership asking if they could help I was only asking for them to tow it to their shop and I would pay for the maintenance, after all it was sold AS IS NO WARRANTY They said that they were not liable for anything and that the sale was final I decided that they did not deserve my business for the repairs and called another local shop and coordinated my own tow The other shop said that the truck ran out of gas and burned up the fuel pump OUT OF GAS? The gauge read half at the test drive The shop said the sending unit was faulty $dollars later the truck is fixed no thanks to Chevy of SAnchorage They have been trying to sell this truck for over a month How did they not know that the fuel sending unit was bad Surely over the course of multiple test drives they would have realized that the gauge never moves If they would have done a thorough inspection as claimed they would have seen this If they don't want to own this negative review then they should not sell trucks this old or with this many miles without a solid inspection first This is what I would expect from on of those sub-par dealers who buy exclusively from auction, not a reputable dealership Bottom line, trucks break down and I get that I was only asking them to tow it to their shop and they would have made $for the repair As a reputable business that would have made since and this review would have been stars

Lithia Chevrolet of South Anchorage conducted a Hard Credit Inquiry on me without my consent in an attempt to sell me a vehicle after I had clearly stated that I was NOT looking to purchase a vehicleThis search negatively impacted my consumer credit rating and has basicly UNDONE the work I have been doing for the last few years to rebuild my credit score

Traded a vehicle in august from liquidators hired by chevy of s.anchorage.at time would only trade for this vehicle.sent down to kenai from dealership.represented a great deal.recently went to trade said vehicle in Anchorage at chevy was informed car only worth 13,when making payments on 21,car.along with 9,interest.not the great deal represented apparently.was told only way out on 02/18/ would be to purchase a brand new truck at that time.feel I was maybe taken advantage of because of my age

I purchased a Dodge Journey at Chevrolet or South Anchorage which immediately started having heating issues I returned the car to be repaired which it was not repaired correctly..Its been over a year which I've brought the vehicle to the dealership to be repaired several times.I recently returned the vehicle back to the dealership and was asked to bring the vehicle to the Dealerships Dodge sister store.The Dodge dealership has correctly diagnosed the problem and apparently is not covered in the Extended Warranty I purchased.The car was first returned to be repaired while on the Day warranty was in effect and at that point was not repaired correctly

They have been trying to sell this truck for over a month How did they not know that the fuel sending unit was bad Surely over the course of multiple test drives they would have realized that the gauge never moves If they would have done a thorough inspection as claimed they would have seen this
If they don't want to own this negative review then they should not sell trucks this old or with this many miles without a solid inspection first This is what I would expect from on of those sub-par dealers who buy exclusively from auction, not a reputable dealership

I purchased a vehicle with extended warranty from lithiaThe warranty was $4,for years to cover mechanicalI had my vehicle serviced regularlyafter 1year I began to have mechanical issues brought to my attention at every oil changeI asked for it to be serviced, only to be told the service department was too busyI made an appointment a month ago, when I brought vehicle in I was told there was no appointment, just first come - first serviceI waited 10hours in the lobby to be charged $for a diagnostic to be told I needed $4,in parts/labor and my warranty would not cover it because it expired last weekTo top it, I was refused the diagnostic report I paid for, and no other service plan was met, or recall repairsI have been denied service the entire time my Warranty was in effectI want my services to be honored for what I paid for

I purchased a Chevy Pick up with the Life Time Oil ChangeIn I sold my vehicle and requested a refund on my GAP Insurance and Life Time Oil Change and was told I could not receive my Life Time Oil Change refund because I did not cancel prior to the sell or sell my vehicle to another Lithia CompanyI purchased this package, paid for it monthly, and when I paid my vehicle off in full, I paid for this cost in fullI feel this is a total rip offI paid for this service, they did notI would like my refund for my Life Time Oil Change that I paid for

We purchased a brand new vehicle off the show room floorSince purchase, we have had continuous mechanical issues that involve the CV joints, electrical issues with the windows that have totaled of thousands of dollars of repairsWe live in a rural community in Alaska not connected to the road system as well as no dealership (one gas station, one main grocery store, etc.)After multiple calls and not have our calls returned and constant following upThey said that due to where we live warrant work cannot be done unless we bring the vehicle back to the dealership which is pretty much impossible due to our location Check their website as it confirms many complaints from consumersI am not able to repair any warrant issues as well

Had work done on my Chevy Silverado series wheel drive truck The mechanic advised he had changed a fuse in the fuse box because the contacts were corroded I had changed the exact same fuse in the fuse box the day beforeUpon inspection, the only fingerprints on the dirty fuse box were mine When I confronted the mechanic he held to his story, even when presented with the old fuse that I had removed They had also advised that the reason I was having issues was that I used a aftermarket ignition harnesss, so I purchased a factory harness from the dealer and had it installedThere was no change in effect I brought the harness back for refund and was told there was no exchange or return
