I was told by a different HVAC company that I needed a new furnace due to a CO leak in my present one In getting estimates, I had Greg from Excellent Air come by and he was very knowledgeable about and quoted several new furnace options for me after thoroughly probing my situation He also mentioned that his company has a "free 2nd evaluation" policy for people in my situation and sent one of his employees out that same day to test my present furnace He found that there was NO LEAK in it and I really didn't need a new one! I offered to pay him something for that service, but Greg said that would negate their "free" 2nd opinion policy This denied Greg the sale of a furnace at this time, but I am very appreciative of his help and professionalism, and I will patronize his company in the future for my HVAC needs!

This is in response to complaint # [redacted] dated 2/24/ We received the complaint on 2127/and contacted Ihe customer that dayWe went out two days later, when the Parts we had ordered arrivedWe replaced the high pressure switch that the factory technical support /> recomnumdedWe also replaced the control board and two other sensors that my technician recommended to eliminate aay potentlalfuture issuesWe also arranged for the factory representive to visit the site on March 20th to run the system and double check that all is working properlyWe spoke to the customer today to let him know We regret very much that our customer is disappointed in our serviceWe strive to provide the best service possible and fix all issues in a timely fashionWhen he called with his concern about weeks ago we sent our technician out, but he was unable to remedy the problemThe near to zero temperatures make it very difficult to work on and diagnose issues with these outdoor unitsWe made several phone calls and opened a "warranty case" with the mannfacturerWe did not nor would ever leave a customer without heat But we did fail to solve issue quick enough to satisfy himWe will not disappoint him again Sincerely, [redacted] Owner Excellent Air Healing and Cooling Scottsville, NY ###-###-####

I've never met anyone/ business with such awesome customer serviceI called Gregg on several occasions at odd times and he's always patient with me and answers all my questionsHe goes above and beyond to ensure customers satisfactionI recommend this company to anyone

Greg D*** of Excellent Air Heating and Cooling is very knowledgeable and was very capable to recommend a heating and cooling system to replace our old inefficient systemThe work done installing the heating and cooling system was professional and done in a timely mannerEveryone was courteous and cleanup was excellentOperation of the system was explained to our satisfactionGreg also explained that hour service is always available for questions or problems

And 2012, we purchased a high efficiency hot water tank and boiler system from excellent airAfter two or three years, a part already had to be replaced because it had meltedWe had to pay for itThe furnace/ hot water heater continually has been shutting off randomly for about a year The error code on the products continually says it’s a ventilation issueThey didn’t Install the ventilation properly The ventilation pipe wasn’t long enough and the exhaust would hit the house, and the cobblestones began to fall off the houseIn the winter, the exhaust turned to ice and ice and cobblestones don’t mix So a year ago they came out to fix the problemWe had to pay half the cost to get the pipe further outThey told us that they can put in a glass window to make it prettierWe agreed and had them replace the window that the exhaust pipe went throughThey did a good job on thatAbout a few weeks ago, they had to come and fix more ventilation problemsThey want us to pay for

It's always a good feeling when you have a positive experience when you invite into your home a technician that exudes professionalism, knowledge, confidence and respect. Someone who takes the time to explain in detail not only the problem but the "fix". This was my second experience with Excellent Air and both times I would give the technicians an "A'.
