Review: I took two vintage 100% silk men's ties to be dry-cleaned in preparation for shipping one as a gift. After I picked them up and started to pack the one for shipping, I shockingly saw that it was mutilated: the original gold-embroidered label on the underside was gone! Ripped out and stolen! (The original printed label on the other tie was intact.)I returned to ask if the label could be found and showed a photocopy of the ties WITH LABELS that I had made for insurance purposes for shipping. An employee insisted nonsensically that the label must have been loose and fallen off, but it was never found although the business's card says "all services done on facilities." I said that I'd file a complaint and wanted to be reimbursed the cost of dry-cleaning the one tie. I never was allowed to talk with the business's owner, but the employee said that I could be reimbursed only if I would not file a complaint.Both ties and labels are irreplaceable.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed the cost of dry-cleaning the one tie ($5.50 or $5.75), although needless to say I will never use this business again.Other: I want the dry-cleaning business to post in writing that it does not accept responsibility for items with buttons or labels, no matter how securely sewn.
