November 19, 2015Dear Revdex.com,? This letter is in response to a complaint from [redacted] ID # [redacted] submitted on 11/5/at 10:15:AM? I do apologize for the late reply due to no suite number on the letter sent to the address? To contest the complaint at hand, we are moving labor only service provider and not a full moving service company? We only handle two aspects of the move that consist of loading and or unloading? Whereas a full moving company handles a wide range of the moves compared to the service we provide? A moving labor service that does not provide transportation is not required to provide any type of insurance or valuation coverage? However, we believe that a professional moving service should have some level of liability for the service provided? We voluntarily abide by federal tariff law to provide basic Released Valuation coverage on all moves, the same coverage that a full service moving company must? provide? This is a default coverage of up to $per pound for damage to household goods caused by our movers while on location? This is not insurance and is not valued based? The moving labor services we provide is the man power to load or unload the customer Rental truck, ABF truck, Pod, etcwhich is solely up to the customer on their use for transportation on personal household goods or office furniture (WE DO NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION)? The customer responsibility is "providing protection" for (furniture, appliances, mirrors, glass, wood floors, carpets, walls, doorways, doors and similar property) all items being transported from one destination to the next with rope & tie downs to secure goods in transportation? As a labor only moving service, once the items is loaded on the transportation vehicle we cannot be liable for any damage, due to our services not having supervision or control of the transportation of the property.? Upon further review and speaking with [redacted] ***, as stated from her own words and from the moving helpers, she had family members helping with the move of boxes and furniture whereas Exceptional Movers didn't have complete control of the service we normally provide with the loading and the unloading of her used household goods? Her protection with furniture and other goods was to a minimum and some had no protection that should be provided by the customer? [redacted] and her family was moving furniture around in her home to minimize time as the moving helpers was servicing the labor on her move and showed a conflict to who was at fault for the damages on the move that also interrupted our system? I personally came there to see what and why the delay that has caused 2hrs overage of the time for the move, and the moving helpers said "her family members was in the way that prevented them from doing their load and unload of the requested services." ? [redacted] disapproved of the extra $she had to pay on top of the $that totaled $for the moving labor services of 6hrs of moving help? [redacted] did mention items to me "a mattress dent on the opposite side you sleep on, scrapes on the washer from it being brought down to the basement and scrapes on the wall from the washer being brought to the basement? Being unsure of the damages caused by either party (with her friends and family moving items around)? I gave MrsFritz the move for free as a courtesy, with the knowledge of knowing all is void due to her family and friends moving furniture while the moving helpers assisted with the move and no direct fault on our behalf? I believe $a pound on the items she claimed compared to the refund giving should be way above satisfactory level with a full service moving company? We are not a full service moving business and abide with specific rules of handling customer's goods and complaints on damages? Her claims are frivolous and was settled on the day of the move with no charge for the service provided? Enclosed is the emails Exceptional Movers received from [redacted] sent to spam folder and was able to search for it from the letter received from the Revdex.com due to a complaint? She personally states the help from family and friends, the overage, the amount refunded and her displeasure due to the coverage with accusations of damages? The matter was settled upon completion of the move and we asked for the warranty of the mattress be sent to? Exceptional Movers address? We never received it as of now? I hope this letter has provided enough information in response to her claim? Exceptional Movers, LLC is a small moving service and addresses any matter presented? Our priority is customer's satisfaction? Regards,? Matt T.? ?

December 14, 2015Dear Revdex.com,? In response to [redacted] complaint ID # [redacted] the matter was properly settled on the day of the move according to company policy? Our policy on customer complaints about damage items is handled by reimbursement of the damage items either $cents a pound or by a refund whichever is greater? In the case with? [redacted] we gave her a refund on the day of the complaint that totaled $which was the greater of the damages she claimed? We dealt with her issues at the time of the move? After several months have passed, now she brings up different frivolous accusations on damages to items that we were not responsible for? We see this as the customer being unreasonable and wanting additional funds? We did not damage 700lbs of furniture but we still have refunded her in that amount? We were fair to [redacted] and settled on the day of the move and followed our policy on damages to customer used household goods? I hope the letter provided some clarity on her complaint? Regards,? November 19, 2015Dear Revdex.com, This letter is in response to a complaint from [redacted] ID # [redacted] submitted on 11/5/2015 at 10:15:52 AM.  I do apologize for the late reply due to no suite number on the letter sent to the address.  To contest the complaint at hand, we are moving labor...

only service provider and not a full moving service company.   We only handle two aspects of the move that consist of loading and or unloading.  Whereas a full moving company handles a wide range of the moves compared to the service we provide.  A moving labor service that does not provide transportation is not required to provide any type of insurance or valuation coverage.  However, we believe that a professional moving service should have some level of liability for the service provided.  We voluntarily abide by federal tariff law to provide basic Released Valuation coverage on all moves, the same coverage that a full service moving company must provide.   This is a default coverage of up to $0.60 per pound for damage to household goods caused by our movers while on location.  This is not insurance and is not valued based.  The moving labor services we provide is the man power to load or unload the customer Rental truck, ABF truck, Pod, etc. which is solely up to the customer on their use for transportation on personal household goods or office furniture (WE DO NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION).  The customer responsibility is "providing protection" for (furniture, appliances, mirrors, glass, wood floors, carpets, walls, doorways, doors and similar property) all items being transported from one destination to the next with rope & tie downs to secure goods in transportation.  As a labor only moving service, once the items is loaded on the transportation vehicle we cannot be liable for any damage, due to our services not having supervision or control of the transportation of the property. Upon further review and speaking with [redacted], as stated from her own words and from the moving helpers, she had family members helping with the move of boxes and furniture whereas Exceptional Movers didn't have complete control of the service we normally provide with the loading and the unloading of her used household goods.  Her protection with furniture and other goods was to a minimum and some had no protection that should be provided by the customer.  [redacted] and her family was moving furniture around in her home to minimize time as the moving helpers was servicing the labor on her move and showed a conflict to who was at fault for the damages on the move that also interrupted our system.  I personally came there to see what and why the delay that has caused 2hrs overage of the time for the move, and the moving helpers said "her family members was in the way that prevented them from doing their normal load and unload of the requested services."  [redacted] disapproved of the extra $130 she had to pay on top of the $290.95 that totaled $420.95 for the moving labor services of 6hrs of moving help.   [redacted] did mention 3 items to me "a mattress dent on the opposite side you sleep on, scrapes on the washer from it being brought down to the basement and scrapes on the wall from the washer being brought to the basement.  Being unsure of the damages caused by either party (with her friends and family moving items around).  I gave Mrs. Fritz the move for free as a courtesy, with the knowledge of knowing all is void due to her family and friends moving furniture while the moving helpers assisted with the move and no direct fault on our behalf.  I believe $.60 a pound on the items she claimed compared to the refund giving should be way above satisfactory level with a full service moving company.  We are not a full service moving business and abide with specific rules of handling customer's goods and complaints on damages.  Her claims are frivolous and was settled on the day of the move with no charge for the service provided.  Enclosed is the emails Exceptional Movers received from [redacted] sent to spam folder and was able to search for it from the letter received from the Revdex.com due to a complaint.  She personally states the help from family and friends, the overage, the amount refunded and her displeasure due to the coverage with accusations of damages.  The matter was settled upon completion of the move and we asked for the warranty of the mattress be sent to Exceptional Movers address.  We never received it as of now.  I hope this letter has provided enough information in response to her claim.  Exceptional Movers, LLC is a small moving service and addresses any matter presented.  Our priority is customer's satisfaction.  Regards, Matt T.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I agree that the service I purchased was a professional
moving assistance with load and unload only. What Mr. T[redacted] is falsifying is that my
family and I removed all boxes the Friday before their professional moving service
was to begin at my location. With professional being the operative word, my
family was not in the way of the movers as we packed our vehicles from a covered porch which is a separate door from what they used to load the truck. The older black gentleman had to take
multiple smoke breaks while working on my time. I was guaranteed that we would
have the best employees of this company.
We rented our own [redacted] truck and drove it ourselves. The
movers realized the amount of work left to do on the job and said they would
contact their supervisor and explain that they are going to unload the truck
for us. Never did talk of an additional charge come up from the older black gentleman, so Mr. T[redacted] is falsely
stating this in his rebuttal. When he came to see the damages, he never mentioned the charges at that time as well.
The damage that was caused to our property was when the
movers were loading the heavy furniture from my old house onto the moving truck
and then unloading the heavy furniture. They caused all of the damage on the
property mentioned in my original complaint. I have 4 witnesses that will
attest to the damage that was caused by them. I have 5 witnesses that will
attest that the boxes were moved the Friday before. I also have 5 witnesses
that will attest that our home was newly remodeled from top to bottom with no
holes, scratches, or gouges in the door jams or on the walls.
We had 3 personal vehicles in addition to the [redacted] truck the day of the so-called professional
movers were hired so we can unload our covered porch which was not in the way of the
movers doing the job they were hired for. The movers only unloaded furniture from the house and a few items from the patio our back. The only time we were in the way is
when we were instructed to empty all dresser drawers rather than the movers
carrying the drawers separately out to load them on the truck.
The so-called dent on the mattress the mover claims, is a
hole that nullifies the warranty of the mattress that cost over $2,000 that was
less than a year old. A $290.95 charge that was given back due to the damage,
which Mr. T[redacted] offered when he came to see the damage caused is not sufficient
for all of the damage that was caused as well as the nullification of the
mattress. Wood, drywall, spackling, and paint at a minimum will need to be purchased to repair all of the damage this
company created. Those charges alone will be more than the $290.95 that was quoted for this move.
Nothing about this service or the credit of the initial
$290.95 is satisfactory.
Regards,
