Review: on 6/11/15 I went to Exclusive Hair Braiding shop to receive braid service. After waiting a hour and a half to get serviced I was asked to pick the color and gave them my desired braid style. I felt a bit uncomfortable with the unpleasant disposition my braider "[redacted]" was giving off from the way she roughly combed through my hair and spoke to me. About a hour into getting my hair braided I was informed that they did not have enough of the color I chose and was forced to settle for another color they had in the shop. Next I was asked to provide a payment of $120.00 before my style was even completed. My hair is shaved on both sides of my head including the back. I felt this was a lot of money for the style I wanted. But I needed my hair done so bad and I was already in the chair so I paid the monies asked for. The stylist was so rough with my hair she torn a piece of hair out from my scalp in the front of my head. I informed her of the bald spot she created and she brushed it off. I new I would be back the next day to speak with the manager about the service I received. After 3 hours I was finished. On 6/12/15 I woke up with an extremely sore head. I looked in the mirror and noticed that the lengths of the ends of my braids were noticeably different and that they were not braided all the way down, she left a large amount of the hair unbraided which caused it to get frizzy and tangled. I looked at the bald spot again and immediately began taking pictures of the imperfections regarding this braid style I paid so much for. I called to the shop and expressed my concerns regarding my disappointment with the services I received. I was told to come in so they could see what I was concerned about. Later the same day I showed up to the shop to provide a visual of the poor serviced I received. I was told by the lady who was in charge of the shop that day (not the manager) that it looked good and why was I unhappy. I pointed to posters that are posted around the shop and pulled out my phone and showed her pictures of how my hair was supposed to look as opposed to how it does look. I showed her my bald spot that I did not have before I walked in their establishment and I asked her how could I be compensated. $120.00 is a lot of money not be happy with a style that I must walk around with. The lady in charge said well she cant fix it today she is working. So I asked for some of my money back and asked for the raggedy ends to be put in a bun because I had an event to attend. The lady in charge of the shop laughed at me and spoke in their language amongst the other braiders in the shop as they giggled and talked I felt embarrassed or like I was doing something wrong by asking to be compensated. She then said why you ask for money back? We don't do that. I asked again well can I have this, referring to my braids, put up in a bun i'm nearing the time I have to be ready for my event. After waiting 15 more minutes "[redacted]" put the bun in my hair and I was sent on my way. On Monday 6/15/15 I felt as though this was still unresolved and I called the braid shopto speak with the manager of the shop [redacted]. A lady answered the phone saying she was [redacted] and asked me what was the problem. I expressed to [redacted] my genuine concerns pertaining to the poor service I received for such an unreasonable price and mentioned everything from the raggedy ends, unpleasant rough service, to the bald spot and the manner I was treated in when I returned there on Friday, while being serviced in her establishment. She asked me if I did hair and I said yes but didn't understand why she would care about anything like that. Then "[redacted]" started yelling ranting and raving that I stole her clients and basically I was not going to be compensated for anything. At that time I knew I had to reach out to someone else, not only was I treated unfairly , but I also paid a pretty penny $120.00 for extremely poor service.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a complete refund of my $120.00 and be compensated for this bald spot, that I did not have before, I received while under the care of Exclusive Hair Braiding. I do not feel comfortable sitting in there to ever get my hair done again.

Review: My granddaughter when to get her hair braided today at 12:30 pm and was at this shop from 12:30p.m. to 2:00am in the morning.. the person that did her hair was slow and just kept talking in another language. .the ower did not care she just set in the chair and carrier convetsation with the girl that even slowed her up even more.. my granddaughter was only 15 and was sick..she did thanks she was going to be in this shop are day.. the had other clients that came in the shop later in the evening and left before my granddauthet.. I would like to have full refund for my inconvenience and unprofessional atmosphere of $200.00.Desired Settlement: The cost was $200.00
