I called BMW and left a message for the *** of the business and am still waiting for a responseThis Buisness has my contact information and it's been nothing but back n forth since I got a call staring my car won't startI drove my car in fine and I expect to get my car back running as it was when I drove it in for over heatingIf my car can't start how is it being repaired at all? After I received a call from the man I have my keys to I don't recall his name saying my car won't start and it's my problem and then went on to say your car was barely running when you brought it inYes at that point I needed help from an outside source as a single mother of three I don't have a man to help me so I reached out to my resources I'm asking my car to be repaired and my car was running when I drove it in and I expect it returned as suchYou want my insurance to pay for services you state you are doing but how are you doing this if my car won't start? I feel like you are trying to take advantage of me and it's not right what your doing

The battery was less than a year oldIt did not need to bereplacedEven after replacing the battery the problem still occurredHow doyou still justify having to replace a battery less than a year old? We spent$1,on all the misdiagnosisI believe I deserve a refund of at leasthalf of what I spentFYI, I still came back and spent $on 4/*/for anotherservice, which was satisfactoryI’ve been a loyal customer for several yearsand had referred several friends to have their cars serviced by youUnfortunately, the way this issue was handled was notproperly addressed at my expense.

Hello-A full refund for [redacted]'s out of pocket expenses has already been issued.  When this concern was first brought to Habberstad BMW's attention, it was asked of [redacted] to produce a receipt that would document his out of pocket expenses.  This receipt was produced on...

6/**/15.  This complaint was also initiated on 6/**/15... [redacted] has already been contacted, and he is appreciative of his reimbursement. Also, his concerns were due to [redacted] (A third party insurance company) not providing a satisfactory level of customer service.  It is due to a lack of customer service from [redacted] that Habberstad no longer offers their contracts. Please reference the attachment to this file as a means to verify my correspondance with [redacted].Thank you, and please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.Sincerely,[redacted]###-###-####

It blows my mind that I came in to get this fixed a couple months ago and I'M HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM and this dealership won't take care of it. How ironic and convenient for more problems to be brought up now months after I was told the issue was resolved. I spoke to Mark to try to get this fixed and all he could say is that the car is old and that he wouldn't take care of it. A $900 repair. They could've easily good willed the bill to BMW or at least had me pay for the part and nothing else but Mark obviously has power and ego issues. To think I was going to buy a new car from them within the next couple of months and now I know I will never step foot into a Habberstad ever again! I will gladly take my money elsewhere. I am very disappointed at how this matter was handled especially on how he mentioned that they tried to work with me to fix this. He claims he would've waived the diagnostic fee but a diagnostic fee always gets waived once you decide to do the repairs, you're not doing me any favors. It was never about the amount but about the principle and how this would affect my relationship with this dealership going forward. Treat all your customers the same not just the ones who drive in with brand new 2016 vehicles and I promise you, you will have more happy customers.  My complaint has not been resolved because Habberstad has failed to correctly fix my car the first time around and refuse to correct it.

Tell us why here... Customer brought the car in 7 month ago.  We diagnosed car and found the car to have faults for the LR wheel speed and faults for the gear shifter.  Found that the car had damage wiring under the console for the shifter.  We also found the wheel speed sensor to be...

faulty.  Swapped in a new sensor.  Road tested the car found the car to now go over 40 mph.  Customer authorized the repairs for the wheel speed sensor and wiring repair under the console.  The car was road tested after the repairs 16 miles and no faults returned.  The sensor was 133.88, 2.4 hours to replace the sensor 1 hour diagnostic charge that was 576.00 plus tax.  The wiring repair under the console was 2.1 hours 336.00 plus tax.  Total repair was 1076.33 for 2 different repairs.  The battery cable repaired was a recall that was no expense to the customer. Now 7 month later and almost 4500 miles later the  car returned to the shop with a DSC warning on.  We told the customer if it is the same part that failed again it would be covered.  We swapped the rear sensor and the fault stayed in the LR.  So the sensor is good.  Is different part that failed so that wouldn’t be covered.  The diagnosis show that the reluctor ring on the wheel bearing is at fault.   Discussed with the customer that it is a different component that is at fault.  Told her I wouldn’t charge her for the diagnosis and discounted the labor rate and still she didn’t want to perform the repairs.   Also we had paid for her rental car for 3 days while she figured out what she wanted to do. The dealer is not at fault is a different part that failed.  We also tried to work with the customer to help her with the repairs and she declined the repairs.  So she return the rental car and pick her car up with no charge to her.

Hello,As mentioned earlier the vehicle brought in with numerous concerns. At first we were unable to reach the customer. After days of no communication we actually drove to [redacted] house to hand her a note. The 3rd party insurance company that [redacted] chose to use is very difficult and covers very little. We have been battling in her defense to get items covered. In return she writes to the Revdex.com and not once calls me The [redacted]? I don't get it?We will repair what the insurance company covers and we will assist with [redacted] for any other item that the vehicle requires to start and that is it.This is more than fair. The vehicle should be completed this week. I would hope this is the end of this ridiculous case.

See previous responce.  Habberstad was willing to work with her on the repair.  But she refused to put any money toward the repair.  After 7 months we feel what we offered her was fair.  As any other repair facility would have done.

I have tried to discuss with [redacted] what has been going on with her car.  The car came in with no fuel pressure we found the fuel pump failed.  When we removed the pump to replace it found that the bottom of the tank has a sediment in it.  The car had no issue when we...

sold it.  The customer has driven the car 10889 miles since she had took delivery of the car.  If the car was sold with the contaminated fuel in it she would have had a problem a lot sooner.  I had discussed with her the fact that if she went back to the station that she purchased the fuel from with the receipt they could help her or possible her insurance company.  BMW NA and the dealership aren't able to help out with the repairs because of the contaminated fuel that where put into the tank. Mark B[redacted], Service Manager (Bay Shore)

I will review with the service advisor. The 3rd party insurance dictates what they cover and what they don't.
