Revdex.com,This reply is in response to [redacted], Complaint # . Mr. [redacted] purchased his V6 pickup after test driving the vehicle at least 1 time. Shortly after purchasing the truck, he contacted us and said he made a mistake by getting a V6 engine, and would like a V8 engine. We attempted to agree on the...

up-charge of changing to a V8. We had a vehicle here, but it was not road worthy and needed extensive mechanical repairs, and the price increase would have been dramatically more than $2000. The 2nd vehicle was a dramatically different type of equipped truck. I have talked to Mr. [redacted] and was trying to have my sales managers and team satisfy Mr. [redacted]. Unfortunately, we never know what will be in stock in our used vehicles. I understand that Mr. [redacted] wants to switch out trucks immediately, but we have to have something that he will switch into, with the right equipment, and an acceptable difference in price. We will still trade Mr. [redacted] into another vehicle, but we have to have a vehicle and terms that are acceptable to both parties. I do not know if that is a possibility. I have no problem in talking with Mr. [redacted], and I will work with my team to assist him if he is still open to going into a V8. Sincerely, [redacted]

I would still like to exchange vehicles only under the terms that were presented to me of my original down payment and trade difference monies being applied to the new vehicle. I do want everything in writing due to the fact that on 2 previous attempts of doing this, the dollar amount changed once I was ready to finalize things. Thanks!
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,

Mr. [redacted], I would like to assist you. I don't understand how you can reject my response. As stated in my response, " I understand that Mr. [redacted] wants to switch out trucks immediately, but we have to have something that he will switch into, with the right equipment, and an acceptable difference in price. We will still trade Mr. [redacted] into another vehicle, but we have to have a vehicle and terms that are acceptable to both parties." I believe that you understand there is a difference in cost between a 6 & 8 cylinder, as evidenced by your willingness to spend more money on a V8 previously. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.[redacted]
