Review: [redacted], owner of the SoCal Bumper Doc, came to my office, offering to completely detail my car, plus repaint two of the panels on the car, for $750.00. An hour and a half later, he said he was done. The car was washed (not detailed) and the two panels were painted with the wrong color paint. When I pointed out that the paint was the wrong color, after an argument over it in which I was able to prove that it was the wrong color, he went and got the right color of paint and painted over the wrong paint. I was left with a drippy uneven mess on the panels. I was told to call him in a couple of weeks, and he would fix it right up. I paid him $800.00 on the spot (it that I was). I have never seen him again. He has made several appointments to come and fix the paint, but has never shown up. He now hangs up if he hears my voice on the phone, or doesn't take the call.Desired Settlement: If the job doesn't get finished, I would like my money back. He can keep $50 for his trouble (what little there was).

Review: [redacted] showed at at my place of business and offered his services under the company name "[redacted]." He asked if anyone at our company needed their cars detailed or any sort of body work and paint services. I told him I had a few dents I'd like fixed. He looked at my car and told me he wouldn't be able to fix the dents but he could fix my damaged bumpers (scratches and dings) and repaint the both of them, making the car look "brand new." We agreed on a price of $650.00. He assured me I wouldn't have to pay if I was unhappy with the final result. I gave him my key to move the car to a good location to work and also took a photo of his driver's license prior to his leaving to begin (California driver's license: [redacted], Address: [redacted]). When he began prepping the car, the weather took a turn and began raining. At this point he moved the car to a new location that he later claimed was a garage which allowed him to finish the job. When he finally arrived back to my office to drop off the car, the rain had subsided, however, he claimed the weather affected the final result and that he shouldn't have painted in that weather and that he would return to correct his poor work the following week when weather permitted. I paid him the agreed rate of $650.00 with a check and he promised he'd be back to make this situation right. After he'd left I realized the car had blotchy texture, overspray in several areas, and within a day the paint began to peel off. I spoke with him again over the next two days to establish a date and time when he'd be back to fix the car. He made two separate appointments that he blew off and then stopped answering my calls.Desired Settlement: I'd like to get my money back from him to have the car repaired by someone who's in the business of doing quality work rather than cheating people and never intending to deliver on their word.

Review: Mr. [redacted] was hired to repair my vehicle as such: headlight restoration, repair front bumper and repair driver's side door. They failed to do the driver's side door as agreed, they chipped the inside of the headlight when restoring it and while they did repair the front bumper, the driver's side door now will not open from the inside. I am unable to open the door from the inside of the vehicle. They damaged the door and did not make any reparations for its repair.Desired Settlement: Refund of $200 for me to have the door lock fixed. That is the price I was quoted from a local expert. I refuse to have them ever work on any of my vehicles again. I do have a copy of his State Farm insurance card and instead of filing a State Farm claim, I am looking to go through the Revdex.com.
